  • Can Trump Make Harvard Great Again? The 298th Evolutionary Lens with Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying
    Oct 22 2025

Today we discuss Harvard, higher ed, public health, AI, and political cheating. Harvard has announced the suspension of several graduate programs, as well as hiring and other budget freezes, claiming poverty due to the suspension of federal grants. But Harvard’s revenue last year was $6.7 billion, and their losses amount to 1.7% of that. Meanwhile, Trump wants Harvard to run trade schools. Then: vaccinologist Paul Offit admits that natural immunity was always superior to vaccine-induced immunity—if you survived the infection—but that this was not a matter of public health policy because Americans couldn’t handle the nuance. And: Google’s AI fabricated a criminal history, and is now being sued. Finally: how you voted is visible on your mail-in ballot in some counties in California.

The podcast is very informational; scientific data with a human touch. Love you guys! I barely heard of you a few months ago from the Joe Rogan interview and I immediately found you on Spotify and I wait for all of your podcasts now. I am very happy to have stumbled across you. You two are real in a very upside down world. God bless you and yours.

This is what real science is about! Questioning, reasoning, putting forvard hypothesis and looking at them from different angles.

excellent, inteligent and scientific podcast

Even though topic matter can be tense, Bret and Heather are some of the most eloquent, compassionate and courageous journalists we have the good fortune to have access to. They are exceptionally driven by integrity and in so doing are inspiring for listeners, especially after so many others have buckled to the dictates of the media.

Great comfort in hearing their podcast

Check his wikipedia page for more information about this most interesting podcaster. Glad there are contrarians out there presenting alternative views, but it is always a good idea to check the primary sources. I'd especially recommend the TWIV podcast for information about viruses and ivermectin in particular since these are actual virologists who know their stuff.

It’s refreshing to hear doctors and scientists tell the truth somewhere. Thank you to Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying for having the guts to tell The Truth. I will forever be in your debt.

The Truth

Bret and Heather are two incredibly smart and well intentioned scientists who shine a light on the scientific world, and help us who are not involved understand the struggles and politics that play underneath the cover of science. They examine papers and hypothesis that for some reason get ignored by the mainstream, and ask questions that are both intriguing and worrisome. Of all my podcasts this one I feel keeps me the most educated, and helps me see the world of science from a less pedestrian point of view.

Bret and Heather Are Absolutely Illuminating

thank you for keeping logic and healthy skepticism in "science" and dissecting our confusing times with a well-measured scalpel.

Thank you!

Thank you Bret. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all the work you are doing broadcasting such important information that most people don’t have access to, or time to find, or even the ability to dissect. I share this with everyone and I hope more people tune into DHP. Mahalo nui

Intelligent and profound source of real and important information

While Dr. Weinstein is an individual with an idiosyncratic perspective, the content of this podcast should serve as a model of careful, thoroughly reasonable, information distribution; a practice all too rare in contemporary US.
