Acclaimed geneticist Alan Stanley is close to a breakthrough on the DNA experiment of his lifetime. Jason Chambers has been working alongside Alan for the past two years. He knows enough about the program to assist but not enough to lead. He’s also battling his own internal demons. He's not always as careful as he should be.

wow, the characters in this are all just completely unlikeable. every one of them is just an insufferable, narcissistic stereotype. hard to get through a story when every character is so obnoxious
