Brazen Careerist
Publisher's Summary
Trunk's anything-but-standard business advice will help new generations of workers in their efforts to get to the top and fly past their in-the-dark coworkers. Her clear, in-your-face style lends itself perfectly to such advice as using office politics to your advantage or admitting to yourself that you need to change fields because you are not good at what you do. Containing 45 tips and one rant, Brazen Careerist asserts that you must have a take-charge attitude and Machiavellian ethics in order to rise to the top of the business world.

This is a manager's handbook to Corporate America
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. I entered Corporate America after 15 years working with specialized technical people.I struggled as a people manager and did not seem to fit in until I read this book. I shared it with a co-worker also struggling for very similar reasons and we both seemed to have found "enlightenment" after reading this. Thank you! This is truly a gift that keeps on giving!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Brazen Careerist?
Finally understanding how relationships matter and how I was unconsciously digging my own grave, not focusing on this before. And yes, "Email...". Wow! I had no idea how public email was!. My final year review may be impacted but perhaps for the last time.
Have you listened to any of Shelly Frasier’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, this was the first
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but I use my drive to work and weekend cooking time for this.
Any additional comments?
Fantastic job!. Thank you
