Funny Narration

Enjoyed the story line, but the narrator sounded like Groucho Marx. Kind of ruined the book. I listened through several chapters, but had to finally call it quits.

Great Story & Listen🎧 Survivor Style Romance!

I knew this book was going to be great as soon as I read it's synopsis. A brash billionaire playboy and a mafia princess left stranded on a deserted island after surviving a plane crash in the Indian Ocean near the Maldives. This is my first book by SC Daiko and I enjoyed her writing style and the storylines she created, they are original and held my interest from start to end. Aly is the mafia princess, she is also an aspiring photographer, though her father does not take her agree with her career choice, he has plans for her, which include a husband of his choosing. Aly first met Ben Collins, the billionaire playboy was sitting opposite Aly at her bother’s wedding, he is a business partner with Aly’s father and also a cocky arrogant alpha-hole. Lets say they did not exactly hit it off. He sees her again when he attended an opening at the art gallery where some of her photos were being featured. Liking her work he tells her he has an assignment for her, he wants her to take photos of his resort on one of the island in the Maldives to feature on his website and brochures. And he does not ask he tells her when and where to meet. He sure lives up to his nickname of “Brash” but she looks at the job as a good career opportunity. The trip goes well, she gets great photos, she also sees that Brash is a workaholic with little to no people skills. Woman want him for his looks and money but he has no interest in settling down. He is a love them and leave them type of guy. Just leaving the island the seaplane they were on crashes, they are separated from the fuselage, Ben saves Aly and they are floating hoping to be rescued. No rescue in site, Ben gets Aly to an island that is uninhabited. The two are stuck there for weeks, during that time they get to know each other, Aly learns he has issues with woman stemming from a broken heart. But Aly is crumbling that wall around his heart and starts to see there is a caring human inside of him. I liked how this story played out, it was well plotted and included plenty of drama, angst, some suspenseful twists and turns as well as a hot, slow burn enemies to lovers romance. SC Daiko thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Hugo Wylde and Kinsey Cass are new to me narrators and I loved their work. They are entertaining storytellers and terrific voice performers. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. They did a great job projecting the emotions of the characters, the drama of the story into their performance. Hugo Wylde’s take on Brash was perfectly alpha with attitude and then swoon worthy when he warmed towards Aly. His accents were great too. Kinsey Cass’ Aly was great too, she gave her a lot heart and strength as well. Thank you for this great listen🎧

OMG!! Fantastic!!

What an exciting story and I loved every minute of it! It was so well written and I didn’t want it to end. Hugo Wylde and Kinsey Cass did a fantastic job narrating it!

Amazing story full of twists and turns that will have you on the edge of seat wanting to know what happens next. I love the chemistry between Brash & Alyona. Hugo Wylde & Kinsey Cass did a fantastic job narrating and portraying the characters.

I loved this story and the performance was great! I loved listening to his voice especially!

Romance on an uninhabited island

I really enjoyed this book. It was so good. Brash was a gorgeous billionaire playboy b@stard who eventually mellowed out after being in a plane crash and stranded on an uninhabited island with Ally. While on the island, Brash and Ally became very close. This book was so good in how their relationship grew. We find out why Brash was referred to as Brash and what happened when he was younger. There is a villain who we meet earlier in the book and I love what happens to him. Ally's father, who was mafia, was a piece of work and much too controlling. I was so glad when she finally stood up to him. Gleb, from Beast, makes an appearance just in time when things get rough. I loved the epilogue.

The narrators did a great job. Hugo Wylde did an awesome job with the Russian accents. I was given this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good storyline

Brash was a decent storyline, unfortunately for me, some of the narration was overdone, almost coming across as cheesy.

Ben and Aly have an instant dislike for each other, but after finding themselves stuck with no one but themselves. They grow fond of each other, soon falling in love.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author, but I am definitely willing to check out others.

Loved it! Another fantastic book by the ever so talented SC Daiko!! The storyline was incredibly clever and very well written. It will grab your attention from the very beginning. I liked how the story unfolded with suspense and just enough details to keep one guessing what would happen next.

I absolutely love Brash & Alyona. I love the chemistry and connection between them. I thought Hugo Wylde and Kinsey Cass did a wonderful job narrating and portraying the characters. They were the perfect match, and complimented each other nicely.

Hugo and Kinsey did an awesome job! You are pulled in from the beginning. Total enemies to lovers story. One intense, super hot, action packed book that’s easy to follow. Great job!!

AWESOME READ!

I absolutely loved it! This book caught my attention from the very beginning and held throughout the entire story. It is full of action, adventure, suspense, steam and romance. The narration is superb and gives the story that extra flair! It will keep you entertained. The author does an excellent job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
