Story
The Alt Apocalypse is the newest ground-breaking series from Tom Abrahams. It explores survival under the most extreme circumstances, but with a twist (and no cliffhangers). This series, which can be heard in any order, features the same core characters in each complete story. But every book dunks them into a new, alternate apocalypse. In Affliction, Abrahams tells the story of a mysterious team of researchers, four college friends, an ex-con, a lonely fry cook, and a secretive group of prepared civilians as they each battle to survive in southern California after an outbreak of a new, deadly disease....

C.J. Phillips and cohorts have scoured much of the western world to bring you this book of the world's funniest bathroom gibberish. Attempts were made to keep the contents of all The World's Funniest Bathroom Graffiti volumes as disgustingly respectable as possible (good luck!). Unlike other graffiti books which present any kind of graffiti, this book concentrates on wall-writing that's funny.

There are laws that even the dead must obey: No hijacking the bodies of the living, no possessing corpses...and never speak of the dark. It's the job of police exorcist Arphallo Sirus and his murdered partner, Sam Trent, to enforce these laws. No one ever said working the Dead Beat was easy, but now it's become nearly impossible as the ghosts and the living alike commit theft and murder in search of answers to the mysteries of life, death, and what lies beyond.

Publisher's Summary
Life has become little more than a day-to-day fight for survival in this tongue-in-cheek (and other body parts) apocalyptic thriller.
The year is 2036. The place, a rapidly decaying, totally (baked) Big Apple, New York City. Brainsm along with a few of his family, his best friend, Gil and three very orthodox Rabbis, have so far managed to survive the plague to end all plagues; by holding up inside the protected walls of what once not long ago was his families former Jewish delicatessen.
On this day of days, Brains is determined to brave the dangers of zombies, street gangs, and other predators of the four-legged variety. He and several of his rag-tag kosher-eatery holdouts have decided to venture out into the city to try and have some good old fashioned Fourth of July fun.

Not a bad listen
Good, albeit short. Nice story line and narration is good. Would have loved to heard more. Will be checking to see what else is on offer from the authors.
