Publisher's Summary

Contains books one and two in the Bounty Hunter series.

Lone Gunfighter of the Wastelands, book one:

Being a bounty hunter in the wastelands isn't easy, and it's about to get a whole lot harder.

The world went down the crapper a long time ago. Then the revolution came. Things stink even worse now as the corrupt Sloan brothers stake their claim over the lawless wastelands. With no one to stand against them, the people are left to the mercy of the corrupt tyrants.

We need a gunfighter who isn't afraid to stand against impossible odds.

The problem is that all the heroes died in the revolution...which means we'll have to settle for "Havoc" Joe Ballast. Ballast is no stranger to bad luck, but when the Sloan brothers corner him, they'll soon learn that you should never, ever underestimate the Bounty Hunter.

Dig Two Graves, book two:

There are only two rules for being a bounty hunter: one, get paid, and two, never make it personal. Joe Ballast isn't very good at either.

When Roderick Sloan tries to kill one of Joe Ballast’s friends, he must go deep undercover to infiltrate the corrupt administrator’s ranks of murderous henchmen to get close enough to take down Sloan for good. The only problem with that plan is 200 soldiers stand between Joe and his target.

Daring heroics and courage are needed if Joe is to survive the treachery and dangerous secrets waiting for him in the fight to save Clearwater.

The Mandalorian meets Fallout in this fresh adventure sure to be enjoyed by all ages. Listen to the first two audiobooks in the ongoing story of "Havoc" Joe Ballast, lone gunfighter of Earth's wastelands.

Way better than expected

Originally bought to pass time because I could not find something I really wanted. It was a good value but after listening I thing it’s a tremendous value and passed the time with interest. So much so I bought the next pat of the series. Would recommend !

Great story. cross between Firefly and Mandalorian

Good story with enough action and twists to keep the reader or listener interested. Already download the next pack for books 3 and 4.

Warning potential for addiction to another series!

Start of book 1 is solid then a little slow getting the characters, but ends with " I need boom 2". Book 2 builds more about existing characters, then adds more.

Good for now, Great to come , it's got the hook in book 2 epilogues

Now I must know more

Like listening to Firefly

Man, if Foster doesn’t make Havoc and T-Rex sound like Captain Mal and Jan, then I’m going deaf. Listening to this audiobook was like hearing Tales of a Browncoat.

The books are great and do a great job of building the world. Each taking us a little deeper in. The characters are all chaotic-good with motivations that make sense. The story moves at a fast pace, yet doesn’t skip out on the details. A very enjoyable read that is well worth a credit.

Ravens Kick Ass!!!

this series is truly kick ass. amazing characters and character development and arc to the story was the best one I feel I've heard in years! also, gotta mention this, this series is like Star Wars ( the good ones! ) meets Fallout : New Vegas and you hear a lot of it through the fucking badass Bounty Hunters POV. Fuck yes. I already have books 3 & 4, immediately starting them after this ! bye !

Great read..

This was pretty good, about Bounty hunting in the Wastelands. There was lots of killing because they thought nothing about human lives. It was pretty much kill-or-be-killed. All the very very rich and treacherous lived a normal, sort of, life, While all the others went hungry or lived underground to keep from being taken as slaves. The worst two were the Sloan brothers. It was similar to the Mandalorian. That's probably why I enjoyed it so much. So, on to book 2.

Absolutely no romance and swearing but no F-bombs.

As for the narration: James Anderson Foster was good with the voices but he had no emotions whatsoever. No whispering, no yelling, do arguing, no nothing. Narration is NOT only about voices, IMO.
