Publisher's Summary

Avery Harper hasn't dated in two years. After losing her fiancé during his deployment, she chose to stay away from men and the games they play. That worked great until she met Jae Drachen. He overwhelms her senses from the moment she meets him. It has her wondering if love at first sight truly exists. The more time she spends with Jae, the more she believes it does.

Jae wants Avery. He's built a corporate empire through years of all work and no play. That never bothered him until now. He's finally met a woman who makes him feel alive; he no longer wants to wait for his marked mate to appear. What he feels for Avery is stronger than what any mate mark could create for someone else.

That all changes when another woman shows up. One who's dreamed of Jae and has a mate mark. He'll give up anything, including his dragon and long life, if it means keeping Avery. He'd sacrifice his life for her, but she loves him too much to let him destroy himself for her. She'd rather he be with someone else and living than dying because of her.

Note to listeners: This is a hot, action-packed, fun adventure of dragon love, babies, sassy women, dirty-talking alpha males, and enough heat it will make you take a couple of cold showers. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Horrible narration

Horrible male voice who sounds like a homosexual man. I have nothing against LGBT but I definitely did not like the diva overly whiny tone.

Hot Hot Hot

Dirty talking possessive alpha male, yes please. Loved Avery and Jae's story. The Audible was acceptable. I had a hard time to get it to do what it was suppose to do. It kept stopping so I had to download it again. I wasn't to find of the music between chapters. I also found the narrator's voice to soft for my taste. When I think of a dragons voice I think deep and growly. Over all the Audible was ok.

Better more yes

This was a better story with more depth and more characters to love. A twist or two. Lost relatives and new friends. More babies. A walk on the snow side of things.

Still that darn music but I tried to overlook it.

Narrator is terrible

He sounds like a breathy nicholas cage. It's super annoying and I'm glad he's only been the narrator for a few of Milly Taiden's books. Aside from that I liked this series but not as much as the PDA.

Amazing series!

Love the narrator, he's really great. Please, please, please tell me there's going to be another Drachen Mates book?! The youngest brother HAS TO get his mate! Plus, I LOVE how they're all together, one big family, complete with a Nana for those babies!
Also - a little off topic - but I've become a huge fan of Milly Taiden. Might have become a little obsessed with her PDA series (Twice the Growl is my favorite there)! And so I just keep looking for her stories.
Thank you for the amazing stories Milly!

I loved the story but I did not like the narrator. He was too breath and some of the enucation was not clear.

another great Drachen tale

Ok, roll on the 4th in the series!! This one was fabulous, with 2 mates needing dragons and a whole lot of drama and danger to boot. A really good romantic adventure and plenty of drama.
A fabulous tale that delivered nicely. For me, a great read (listen) that kept me entertained
