Brandi Dixon is a single mom with a difficult life. She and her daughter live in a double-wide trailer in small-town rural Florida. Brandi longs for a man but she's picky and doesn't want to bring home a string of "temporary daddies" for her daughter like her mom did to her when she was growing up. Then her cousin wins tickets to tour the Kindred Mother Ship and tells Brandi there's a place where she can have hot, no-strings-attached sex with a Kindred warrior. Brandi wouldn't normally do such a thing but she's desperate - it's been a three-year dry spell and she needs a man - even if it's only for a single night.

Good story

Despite both main characters being a little dense or exceedingly hardheaded at times, I really enjoyed this story.

I absolutely loved this book will read again and the narrator was amazing too! Definitely recommend

can't get enough

I have read more than 30 books from the same author and her story never get old.... listening to it was the best experience ever💕💕💕💕

I had to force myself to turn it off. Started listening first thing in the morning.

Best of the series

Surprisingly, I found this to be the most enjoyable and least annoying of all the books in this series; and yes, I've read them all.

SPOILER ALERT: I was excited by the several things that occurred that were previously unheard of by the kindred. The best ( IMHO) was the Goddess speaking and sending dreams to a human little girl.

Definitely a MUST READ!!!

Started out but fizzled out quickly

I wouldn't recommend this book. The blurb caught my attention but the story did not live up to even my lowest expectations. Weak characters, underdeveloped storyline and not much happening, just a long drawn out narrative.

it's was good

good book, understandable but cliche fight midway through, some of the lines were a little corny but I enjoyed the listen. the whole Mr. Grabber thing was the most ridiculous thing in the book by far besides his name
