great book

I love it when I hear that the kindreds are having baby girls it's nice to see that there's 2 more girls to add to all the boys since there's only been 2 girls born so far but we'd really like to see you somehow bring in more girls maybe some healing some Artifact something that could change their genetic makeup. after all yonnie 6 definitely works a lot with modifying people with drugs and sperm washing. why don't the Kindred race as a whole try something along those lines. They even speed up the pregnancy.The Kindred even have Yipper too help. And the Goddess!

Finally

Audible did not have this book in series order after I finished the book leading up to this story. Just happened upon this one; really wanted to know what happened to the night walker Kindred and the lawyer. Great story and worth the wait. Mackenzie did a great job with narration. Beginning to run out of Kindred books, oh no!!!

A wonderful story

I just loved this story. Imani was a strong women who accepts the consequences of her actions. I love the way the goddess helps the couple out and is present in the situation they fond themselves in! I recommend this book because it is not only a good story but a sensual one also!!!

Black women aren't only strong victims!

SPOILER ALERT!
First, the main character is 'accidentally' sexually assuated by the man/animal she has fallen in live with in just 3 days. She makes so many excuses for how it wasn't an assault. Neither of them are bad people, but since women of color are assualted all the time and told it isn't assault because you let it happen, I just couldn't enjoy anything after that. The fantasy feeling of the book was stolen.
