Entertaining escapism
Great mix of Americana with scifi Tech. Character interactions are sweet if sometimes a little repetitive. The flight gets a little repetitive too but it’s worth putting up with for the stories. Sometimes the main characters accent is a bit too much for me. I was two books in before I realized he was saying Max when I  sometimes thought he was return referring to “my ex.” but I listened straight on through with pleasure.

Fast- paced, light hearted, and seriously funny
I seriously love the Bob and Nikki books! I never know what will happen next, but I can be sure it will involve hijinks and shenanigans that will leave me laughing.
I adore the hero of these books. Part McGuiver, part prankster, part gunslinger, and all hero. The core of deep human decency driving all of Bob's actions and relationships is so admirable. I've gotten super attached to this character.
These books are also clean enough I recommended them to my teenage son, who loves them and is also rapidly reading the whole set. My kid is not typically a big reader, so to me that says everything.
The reader for this series does an incredible job. His accents and voices are spot on. His comic timing is impeccable. I'll be looking for more audio books performed by this trader.
If you're looking for a quick, light read that will make you laugh so often everyone around you will ask what on earth is so funny, I highly recommend this series.
