With her old house now up for sale, Claire has agreed to do something she's never done before: make the wedding cake. It's a big challenge, maybe too big, but she wants to prove to herself that she can do it. She also wants to impress Danny.

Roxie has her hands full with all of the wedding details, along with helping her daughter, Trina, with odds and ends at the soon-to-be-open salon. She's glad to be busy but knows it's a temporary thing. More than anything, she wants to be needed. She just has to figure out how to find the right place for herself.

The wedding is a beautiful beachside event that brings everyone together, but that doesn't mean everyone's happy to be there. Is trouble on the horizon for someone in the beach house?

Good but timing is unrealistic.

I have been enjoying the series however, I wish that the timing of all the blooming relationships was more realistic and spread out. It’s a lovely storyline but everyone finding love and moving into serious relationships within weeks of knowing each other and losing a significant person in their lives is hard to get on board with, especially since it is the case for every single character. It is also unrealistic to get two brand new businesses complete and up and running within weeks. This is the first book in the series that mentioned the timeline when speaking about Willie & Miguel’s wedding and maybe it would has been better to leave that out to let readers make their own assumptions. I’d have loved for the timing to span a year or two to make it more relatable but that being said, I will continue with the series.
