Satisfying ending of a fantastic trilogy
John Telfer did do justice as a Christian Rodska replacement. Few chapters and I already forgotten that there was a narrator change.

disappointing change of narrator
love the series and Brian McKellen in general but such a shame to change the narrator on the last book of a series. Nothing wrong with the new guy just different voices to the characters I've invested in. Ben Styke particularly distressing.

Great, engaging story, slightly annoying that the last book has a different voice actor. he's not bad by any means, I just got so used to the other one!

This title trashed the trilogy.
Firstly: They swapped out the narrator. Could be many reasons, but sad to have the last book in a trilogy by another one after having 5 books of the same.
I loved the first trilogy and the first two books of this one wasn't as good, but not bad. This last book has been utterly boring and nothing really happens and at the end everyone lives happily ever after and none of the bad traits of any of the characters stop them from becoming wholesome happy people at the end as though by a wave of a wand. This can't be the same author. I'm not touching anything from him again after having all the hours of the last trilogy wasted.

Great replacement narrator
A great end to the series and a brilliant effort by the narrator John telfer in matching his predecessor who was too unwell to read this book. You can tell a lot of effort went into matching how each character sounds and it really helped make a satisfying listen. Well done to all involved.

A Lot of Blood!
Vlora Flint's has lost her powers and is now powder blind after the battle of Crease, where she was badly wounded. She is now headed to Landfall with a new army from Adro. Her sole mission, to destroy the godstone, the "Adran way". However, with the disappearance of Olem she is feeling broken and she may, finally, be learning from her mistakes.
Styke takes a group of his Lancers to Dynize, along with Ka-Poel and Celine. However, his fleet was scattered in a storm and he has had to land on a beach some 100 miles away from the landing point. He and his Lancers face a long and dangerous trek across Dynize in the hope of meeting up with them, but the journey will not go well.
Michel and Ichtracia return to Landfall, where all roads seem to lead.
I loved this trilogy and am sorry it has ended, but it ended well. My favourite character was Amrec, the horse and the head of the house that Michel worked in (Didn't know spelling of man's name). As an aside, I think a list of characters ought to be listed when you have a series of books, such as this, to make it easier for people to review.
As an aside, the change of narrator was noticeable and I send my good wishes to the original narrator, Christian Rodska for a continuing recovery.

A Truly Epic Series
Wow, I can't believe my Powder Mage adventure has come to an end, A truly epic saga of gunpowder, sorcery and Gods. Brian McClellan has become one of my favourites and his Powder world will leave you in awe with absolutely amazing characters you will really love. What an ending and conclusion to a series that has it all, the plot, setting, an action packed adventure and the pacing of this awesomely told story will have you drooling from the very start until the very last page. In this final book, Vlora, Olem, Taniel, Ka Poel and Mad Ben Styke must come together with their RifleJack's and Mad Lancers to try stop the Dynize army, their power mad leader Ka Sedial from reaching a God like status that could be the end to them all. But in doing so alot of sacrifices must be made, Blood spilt and the loss of alot friends who will give everything to try and stop him. Will evil prevail over good, check it out to find out. The narration by John Telfer gives an excellent preformence in this final installment. I absolutely promise you won't regret picking up this excellent and exciting series, definitely in my top ten reads to date, highly recommended....😁💥🔥

Great finish to the trilogy.
Was a great story, but the only reason I gave it a lower score was the switching out of the reader. Christian Rodska made these trilogies for me, he's characters and voices were amazing and to switch him out on the last book was truely devastating!!! not that old mate wasn't good, it's just he wasn't Christian. he's made it for me. Maybe they'll remake it with him again! But it's too late for me.

Disappointing
I loved all the other books in both series with Christian Rodska narrating - just really disappointed that they changed the narrator for the final book. Made it unlistenable for me and I didn’t even get half way- going to buy the kindle version and read it to see how it ends.
I’m sure this narrator would be fine if he did a whole series - but the change just took me completely out of the story - all the characters are completely different - how does Styke now have some stuck up nobleman voice??? It’s like this narrator didn’t even listen to the Rodska versions - if you’re going to change narrator at least they should listen to the previous and try to stay in the same realm for the characters.
Very unfortunate

Great book, poor narration.
Great story displaying the brilliance of McCellan. It is however let down by the narrator who does not meet the high standard Christian Rodska set, often not catching the essence of the characters. This book needs his touch to be a brilliant audio book.

We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.
