The storyline was predictable. I thought I was listening a manual on how to be a spy instead of a novel. The narration was monotone and lacked enthusiasim.

Dissappoinrment

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Narrator. Several times I found myself thinking how good this would be with better narration.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Satisfaction. Its a very pat ending but I didn't mind I thought it fit the story line.

How could the performance have been better?

Needs a different narrator, period. Honestly, it sounded incredibly similar to the computer reader on my Kindle. I could only tolerate it for doses at a time over several days which is out of character for me as I usually finish my books in about 36 hours.

Do you think Blood Line: A Thriller needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes. As the book begins and you get to know the characters you "know" that other books are coming - or should be!

Any additional comments?

I hate to read reviews in which the authors/narrators are bashed. So I hope that my review will not be received that way. No offense to the narrator but the voice was totally wrong for this book.

Entertaining but Narration is rough to get thru

Would you ever listen to anything by John J. Davis again?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Mark Westfield’s performances?

Maybe

Any additional comments?

Such a silliness - unbelievable events - daughter unaware of any of her parents past. Just a big disappointment - did not bother to finish this one - got to Chapter 5 and went elsewhere.....

Misses every mark

A really bad story, with plain characters. Not worth to lose one's time, even for entertainment

Awful story
