best story yet! listened to the last couple chaptersseversl times and I hate reruns :-)

Book 10

Ethan and Merrill enter a race to lead. Mystery, romance, adventure, and an intriguing storyline that kept the listener engaged.

Need a breather to catch my breath!

The storyline is getting even more interesting, especially the mystery part of the story. I really like how each book introduces either new supernaturals and/or fantasy ideas. I also really enjoy how these ideas are woven together within each books’ stories.
In this story, the mystery is really fascinating. Trying to solve a mystery can be fun (blood, death,(s), & the like aside). It’s really well done & enjoyed trying to figure out who did it & why.
As for the other part(s) of the story, it continues the main storyline & is equally as interesting & exciting as the previous books in the series.
What’s a littler frustrating, perhaps, is the development of the characters. While most of the characters are great, sometime, I just get really frustrated with Ethan & Merit as times. They are a great pair, but Ethan can be frustrating at times. He needs to find a balance & let go of a lot of his baggage & skeletons in his closet. Once he does that, he & Merit will be able to grow together.
And poor Merit, she just gets pulled in all kinds of directions. But she’s navigating her way through like a trooper, which only makes me like her character more.
As with the last book, I really like how these story is progressing & really love how everything is woven together. It’s exciting, fun, & full of action. It ‘s also really enjoyable listen to.
