Publisher's Summary

What happens when an almost 30-year-old virgin agrees to let her Scottish footballer best friend give her some lessons in seduction?

Lots of banter, awkwardness, jealousy, and heat.

Midfielder Maclay "Mac" Logan is a loud-mouthed, tattooed ginger content with focusing on football. But when an adorable, freckled seamstress comes barreling into his life, he finds Netflix-And-Bickering with her to be his new favorite pastime.

Freya Cook is used to being the invisible woman with a needle and thread, offering cheeky punchlines as she helps dress London's finest. She's plus-sized in body and spirit, and other than her friendship with Mac, talking to the opposite sex is one skill she never mastered.

However, after one innocent game of Never Have I Ever, Mac offers to play Love Coach for Freya.

What neither of them see coming are the feelings that develop when the clothes come off.

Now they’re both about to learn the biggest lesson of all: Don't fall in love with your best friend.

Blindsided is a full length (97,000 words) contemporary rom-com standalone with a sports theme.

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫ LOVED IT!!!!

Man I devoured this book! I loved the characters and their relationship. It was so great to read about a female lead who had flaws. Freya had a lot of self esteem issues and to be honest, they are the same thoughts that I think many of us have everyday. I loved how she came out of her shell and with the help of her friends and her man she learned to love herself. First I fell in love with Mac, then with their friendship, then I fell in love with Freya and finally I fell head over heels in love with their relationship. The banter between them was off the charts. I laughed so much during this book. Without giving any spoilers, I just have to say this book had the BEST scene ever in it that was seriously funny but extremely thought provoking. I am not surprised about how much I loved this book though because I expect nothing less from this Author.

The narration, as always with all Amy's books was PERFECT. I loved all the accents and I love when a voice fits a characters personality and Will Watt and Charlotte Cole fit like a glove.

Best Narrators EVER!!!!

WOW... WOW... WOW... Will Watt and Charlotte Cole were just simply amazing. Best dual narration I have ever heard. I have always wanted Freya to have her own book and Amy Daws blew my mind. I have to say I laughed so hard and I have to admit I cried buckets too. Mac was just simply delicious and I loved him, but I wanted to smack some sense into him as well. This book shows two friends who can't see what is right in front of them. Plus more Harris Clan too, who can say no to hot footballers!!!
Highly recommend this book and I loved this narration so much!!!

Another Great Book from Amy Daws!

Friends to more is my favorite trope and with Blindsided, Amy Daws has created an interesting story with engaging characters that come alive through the duet narration. I am picky about audiobooks and narrators, but I always love Amy's books on audio.

From the beginning it is easy to see the strong bond between Mac and Freya and that remaining platonic best friends is not in their future. After having met them in a previous book I really liked getting to know them better. They were fun and funny, and definitely not one dimensional. I appreciated that they had careers and interests outside of just being with each other.

The evolution of their relationship was sweet and hit all the right notes. The author infused the story with enough humor and heart to make it an enjoyable and entertaining read!

Mac and Freya's story is a spin-off from the Harris Brothers series, but can be read as a standalone.

Exceptional HEA

First time listening to this author and I must say her writing is on point and fully immersed in real life situations. The book had me laughing out loud and crying at points with the honesty and sincerity written about real life hang-ups and situations that everyone faces at one point of time in their lives. I actually am going to read the series this book is a spin off from now. I highly recommend this HEA book.

Mac and Freya were perfection

Amy Daws was brilliant with portraying them as real people. The way she interjected their insecurities and their imperfections made the story perfect. Freya's inner voice is something we all have. I was right there with her and her friends when they told that voice where to go and how to get there, in no uncertain terms. Amy - you are a gift to everyone! Everyone needs the message you send through this story.

I laughed, I cried, I even laughed so hard I cried - though that made the passengers in my car give me odd looks as I just drove a little further to find out what would happen next. Yes, I listened to this on audio. I cannot tell you how much I seriously love Will M. Watt and Charlotte Cole in this book. They are perfection. All those voices. WOW! - Is it weird, I even had my inner voice talking to me in their voices when I had to take a break and deal with reality. I seriously never wanted this book to end. Please Please Please tell me there will be book with Mac's sister in the future!!!!!

Absolutely Delightful

This is sn absolutely adorable and quirky read. Mac and Freya are fantastic. My only complaint is how self-deprecating Freya could be. It to me was a bit too much. Mac is my new dream man. 🥰

Literally loved this story. The way their love and bickering played out was phenomenal. They have such a fun relationship, reminds me of my own. Red heads and accents, doesn’t get much better.

OMG even better in Audible

When I read this book I absolutely loved it. It was one of my favourites in this series but listening to it in audible made it so much more. The Narrators really brought these brilliant characters to life.

Charlotte And will did such an amazing job with this one, the accents, the emotions so beautifully real. I could listen to this again and again, and to be honest I probably will.

Well done Amy Daws for an amazing book and picking an amazing narrator team.

Pure perfection! Ohhh my!!

Oh, lordy. This sweet, sassy, sexy, emotional, all-encompassing friends to lovers romance is everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. It ticks off so many of my boxes ... it's borderline ridiculous. A swoon-worthy Scotsman - although he is truly a bit daft at times that I wanted to smack some sense into him - deliciously voiced by the talented Will M. Watt (if I had to name my favorite male narrator - it would be him, hands down) and one cheeky, feisty, smart-mouthed heroine, whose skills with the opposite sex are ...uhm, expandable and much too innocent for her age, all perfectly brought to life by the amazing Charlotte Cole. The banter and bickering between those two is out of this world. A match made in heaven. I smiled, I laughed out loud, I cried, I swooned, I screamed and then I laughed some more. It's utter brilliance and definitely one of my favorite friends to lovers romances out there. I need more of Amy Daws' characters' kind of banter, more hunky Scots- and Englishmen and more Charlotte Cole and Will M. Watt goodness. Again, match made in heaven. MORE please!!

Blindsided was such an awesome story. This friends to lovers novel with its likable, relatable characters, hilarious banter, emotional moments and steamy scenes had me hooked from beginning to end, I enjoyed this story as Freya and Mac had me laughing and highly amused. I loved seeing the progression of their relationship and their story gave me all the feels. This was an enjoyable tale and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of friends to lovers romance.

This duet narration was absolute perfection. I loved Will and Charlotte's voices. They did an excellent job with the characters, with the accents, with the emotions. They had great pace and timing and really brought the story to life. It was an absolute pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Amazing!

Blindsided by Amy Daws is contemporary romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Will Watt and Charlotte Cole. This book is a Harris Brothers series spin off that can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book of Amy’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. She took me on an emotional roller coaster. You can’t help but fall in love with Mac and Freya.

Will and Charlotte did an amazing job on the narration! I absolutely loved the dual narration and their accents. They really brought this story to life!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves sports romance, rom-coms, or friends to lover’s romance.

What can I say about this book! it's perfect, just like coming home after awhile. I love revisiting some old characters from the first books.

Mac and Freya are soo wonderful together, the perfect couple, and I loved every minute of their story. This book made me laugh out loud, chuckle, giggle and I couldn't contain myself.

Phenomenal!

I have never been more excited to listen to a book that I already read in ebook form before and I was NOT disappointed. I absolutely adored this book and Will Watt and Charlotte Cole did what I knew they would do--bring it to life! Mac and Freya are one of my very favorite couples from Amy Daws. They completely stole my heart. The narration was as awesome as the story. I've loved Will Watt's voice for a while now, but he really brings something special with that Scottish accent. I loved every bit from beginning to end!

My Thoughts on Blindsided

Oh the audio goodness. That's what Blindsided was. Not only because the storyline was romantic perfection, although it was definitely that. But also because of the audio itself.

These two narrators really brought these characters to life. Freya was so funny and just impossible to not love. She's the type of character I wish I could be friends with and not only because of the great accent. Mac was a great mix of bad boy and boy next door. They were so sweet together. And yet the steam was off the charts too. I love a good best friend's to lovers story, but when it's written by Amy Daws sign me up. I know I'm going to get a story that's well written, with great characters, fun cameos from beloved characters, and my favorite kind of ending.

Charlotte Cole and Will Watt are by far two of my absolute favorite narrators and this book is a prime example of why.
