Love these books

Loved this book and the narrator. Only downfall is having to wait for the 3rd book to become available for audiobook. Seemed like the 2nd took forever.

Please stop with the lecturing

I have to say I'm glad I got this on the romance package and didn't spend a credit on it. The first book, Cursed, was good, not great, but I thought it was promising. So far I'm in chapter 8 of the new story, and I think I've been lectured about 10 times on NO SEX before MARRIAGE. The 18 year old with ALL the hormones and all the craziness going on in her life almost dies several times, and wants to LIVE her life to the fullest, and experience everything she can, but then wants to wait 4 years until after getting her degree to get married to the man she loves more than life, and of course wait the entire 4 years before doing more than kissing him................... Nope. This is a fantasy book, but human characters have to be HUMAN. You either are worried you are going to die, and want to get everything in, or you understand that there are things that you have time, and you want to savor things, but you can't have both. I may actually finish this book, maybe, because I am curious where the author is going, I just wish we could get on with it already.

***** Update 1/29/19***** Okay, I finished this book, and will say the story gets MUCH better after Chapter 10. I'm still rolling my eyes at the lecturing, but the main character gets on the ball, and is less whiny. I would say if you can make it to Chapter 10 you might enjoy the rest. I would actually probably listen to book 3 if it was on the romance package, but I'm NOT going to pay a credit for it. Not that curious how this ends. It's sad, I think this series would be SO much better with a different editor. The stories themselves are good, the writing is actually interesting, it's the AD NASEUM repeating of the NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE, and the lecturing that gets you. I think you can get that across in 1 or 2 scenes withouth having to make it such a major part of the book.

horrible!

the main character is weak and not really likeable. she has no real personality of her own. there is something I don't like about the narrator. her voice is as weak as the character.

Good Tween Series

the characters and story line are interestimg, if not predictable. not exactly a romance novel, very G rated they don't even kiss until the end of the book and that's all the action there is. safe series for teens, pre teens, etc.

1st book was ok, this was beyond bad.

The first book was tolerable because the story moved along, but the 2nd in the series is entirely intolerable. it sounds like a 150 year old woman with Victorian era ideologies wrote it. The narrative constantly talks about waiting for marriage before sex and the virginity of the heroine. ad nauseum. I could not even make it through a 3rd of the drivel.

Not like Cursed

I loved Cursed but this second book is TERRIBLE. Seriously. The author repeats things over and over again, as if the reader has no brain of their own; it's annoyingly frustrating. The book is also over the top with the "he loves me" and "I love him" theme. i don't know how the talented narrator got through the whole book without throwing up in her mouth. I'm going to purchase the third book because I want to know how the story ends, I just pray it is written more like the first book.

Need to improve digital priduction

Great story, nice narration, poor production. In places it sounded like an old scratched record.
