Blanche gets around
This story has so many twists and turns. I like the urban setting and situations of the characters. I like the community involvement and engagement. The drama takes a hard and uncomfortable turn so be ready for a “ripped from the headlines” event. I wonder what Blanche’s next adventure will be. Makes me anxious to think about it!

What a fun listen
For a crime novel, it certainly subverts the crime genre in many ways, especially hard boiled detective fiction. A must read

Wonderful story and narration
This book is another Barbara Neely’s best! Truth be told and included humor. I hope she writes more! Thank you Audible for including these fine stories!
