Publisher's summary

Since the night of her brutal attack and unwilling transformation into a vampire, Merit has stood as Sentinel and protector of Chicago's Cadogan House. She's saved the Windy City from the forces of darkness time and again with her liege and lover, Ethan Sullivan, by her side.

When the House is infiltrated and Merit is attacked by a vampire who seems to be under the sway of dark magic, Merit and Ethan realize the danger is closer than they could have imagined. As malign sorcery spreads throughout the city, Merit must go to war against supernatural powers beyond her comprehension. It is her last chance to save everything - and everyone - she loves.

Fantastic book

This was one of the best books I have listened to anxiously waiting for the new series. Thanks for an exciting ride with the Chicagoland vampires and all within the series.

Great story

Blade Bound was a great story with a good mix of magic, vampires, drama, undead life, fighting, and intimate scenes. From a marriage to a battle with a mythical creature the audience is guaranteed an interesting and captivating story. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

Great series

I normally don’t listen to entire series because I lose interest about the second bookie so. Chloe Neill got me, her style of writing along with the narrator kept listening until the bitter end. Now I am afraid I am in a bookhole(showhole). Forever a fan

Nice tie up of series

I'm sad that this is the final book in the series. It covered a lot of ground to get to the ending. I will miss these strong characters.

Finally got used to

Well I finally got used to the different narrator's voice. I preferred the first but oh well. This was a very enjoyable series of books for me. I have watched every movie, series, etc. that I could find about vampires and the like. I turned to audible books a while back and I have found a new love. Now on to find and new series.

Blade Bound

Oh my gosh what wasn't to like? I've loved every book in the Chicagoland Vampire series and I think this was the perfect way to end this story path. I cannot wait to see where the next path takes Chloe Neill and hope that even if it doesn't follow Ethan and Merit that they still have a place somewhere. I wonder if now that they know that miracles can happen if more will join the following series or if it was a one time fluke because all the right ingredients made it happen. only time will tell. :-)

Hate to see it end

I would have loved to read more about Elise and Conner growing up. Lulu as well. This as usual was a good adventure I just wish everything else had been separate and leading up to the spin off. I am hesitant to start the spin off because it starts while they are adults and does not explain their youthful relationship or their relationships with pack and vampire house.
