i really liked the story about "Tango". I found the introduction confusing and the story "Black Swans" in the "meh" category. Nice for a short book about the LA of the "70s". Good narrator.

Torrid affairs @ Chateau Marmont

Interesting but empty . Good for passive listening during work or driving. I liked the ‘vibe of the book’ more than the actual book.

Narrator felt like like hearing a continual nails on the chalkboard.

Great Writing. As an LA native I looked forward to this audible. But- the narrator was just shrill, every S was a whistle. I clenched when a word or sentence had multiple S’s. A shame really, I could not get past the first chapter.
