There are not enough words to describe the feelings this book evoked!!
Author KL Kreig takes you on a journey that's so heartbreakingly beautiful.
My chest was tight with anticipation. My heart throbbed with anxious beats. I fell so hard for these characters and was sucked into their world from the very first page.

I felt this story on such an emotional level. I felt for Kael and the love that he harbored for Maverick. The feelings that were not returned but better yet, directed at his one and only brother.

"While he was the sun that lit your world, you were the darkness that shadowed mine"

When he told her that, I broke!!!
Complete ugly cry. This Man. This beautiful man. He was so selfless and pure. He carried the weight of the world on his shoulders loving Maverick. And I'll admit, it made me want to hate her. It made me want to smack her in the face and say "Open your Eyes!!"
As she spent her focus looking behind her, Kael offered a life so beautiful that sat right in front of her. But Maverick couldn't stop looking back. Back to the man who broke her. The man who left her without any warning and showed back up married to her sister.

I applaud Author KL Kreig on Black Swan Affair. Even though there were moments I wanted to scream, this story was so passionate and raw.

Narrators Ava Erickson and Tad Branson are amazing!!
Both are at the top of my list of favorite narrators so hearing them tell this story in dual POV was the icing on the cake.
The emotion was dripping from their voices. Such a powerhouse couple to narrate together. LOVED IT!!

Which one will she choose?

Not such a classic triangle but lots of angst and guessing until the end to see which one she will end up with. Given this is a dual POV it helps to learn what is going on in their heads as well as hearts. I really enjoyed listening to this one.

it started slow but....like a volcano. Not a classic but definitely a Romance Classic! Ava and Tad narrated so damn good,, Well done!

amazing!!

This was amazing, and heartbreaking, and simply fantastic! the narrators were awesome! I really felt for Killian and Kale. Has to be hard being brothers and being in love with the same girl. Many tears were shed while listening to this. i absolutely loved it.

totally AWESOME story

I wish I could give this more stars...this story totally blew me away! the story took many twists and turns and I couldn't quit listening. Kale and Mav were fabulous. Hopefully there will be more books on audible by K.L Kreig! The narrators made the book GREAT! I Love this outstanding narration duo.

Felt drawn in

I mostly loved this one. However I did feel frustrated at times with Maverick. It also seemed weird to play brothers like this, but the twisted ending was unexpected.

This book was fantastic! One minute I was smiling and the next crying! My heart hurt for Kale!

Great and exciting book

I really liked this book, except for it going back and forth in time so much. I couldn't keep track with 10 years ago and 7 months, 3 days ago. I don't mind it once in a while, but this happened way too much. Detracted from the story. I couldn't keep track of where I was in the story. I kind of figured out the ending, at least the ending I wanted to see. The brother I wanted. I liked Maverick's thinking process for choosing the right guy for her. Other than the story jumping around way too much, it was a great story. The narrators were excellent.

Every damn emotion

I laughed, I cried and OMG was it HOT! Loved the characters, the narrators and the unbelievable story. I want more!

Suspense and Surprise

The beginning was difficult. I considered aborting after 10 minutes of listening, but went back to the reviews and saw that other listeners experienced the same, and recommended to stick it out. So I did. It was fabulous. The love Kale felt towards Maverick was a little obsessive to my taste at times, but overall - a great book. Narration was very good. I recommend!
