Good overall

I had a hard time getting into this book to begin with. Once I really got into it, then it was very entertaining. Trying to remember who all the characters were was a bit difficult for me and I'm wondering if that is why it was a slow starter for me. Overall, it's an enjoyable listen. Fred Wolinsky helped a lot with the narration. His many and very different voices make for a great entertaining listen and I'm sure the only reason why I kept with this book. Overall, I would recommend this book!

Black Scales 1

Icabus dreamed of dragons than his dreams turned dark and true. His village was over run by these awful men and they were going to kill Icabus, so Icabus ran in to the woods the one place he was always forbidden to go. He made it past what ever the evil thing was and ended up in another land where he needed to find the dragons to save his village and world.

This was a good book filled with action and suspense. The only part I had trouble with was getting use to all the characters especially the ones with names that were so close to each other. The audio narrated by the very talented Fred Wolinsky with his many voices for all the characters is well worth it. Mr. Wolinsky can make you feel as though you have been transported right there fighting besides Icabus or the towns people, he really brings this book to life for the listener.
