Publisher's Summary

Her happily-ever-after ending was just the beginning

For two years, Diamond and Black have been living comfortably on their high-class cul-de-sac with their daughter Dior. They're ready to leave the drug business behind them, having enough money to continue their lavish lifestyle without going back to the streets to re-up.

With the loss of his sister Mica, Johnny can feel nothing but rage for the woman he once loved. Now he plans to strip her of everything that she loves. From behind bars on his death bed, he sets a plan in motion that will tear Diamond's world apart.

Fighting to survive, Diamond almost gives up - until a mystery man enters her life. She believes he will save the day, but is he genuine, or just another person out to teach Diamond a lesson?

What would you do if your prized possessions were in danger of being taken away?

A waste of time & money.

Book three was a disappointment to me. A majority of this book was the story we have already read/heard in book one and two. It’s as if the author didn’t have much of a story for book three so she used previous content to fill pages. Also Hearing it in a man’s voice did not sit well with me either. The first two books were a woman so to make a switch the book didn’t flow as well. He had no change to his tone or voice for the difference characters. If I could get my time and money back I would.

ok, but not great

This book had too many parts from the other two books. It's like a time loop the same thing happens over and over again. i hope it's not a book four

nope!

Narrator is boring as hell and kept mispronouncing the names. I'm returning this, I enjoyed the first 2 books, but this one is a no for me!

The NARA raider ruin the book for me

The NARA raider completely ruined the book for me. I could not take him serious when he was narrating the sex scenes and doing the female dialogue. It was unfortunate that he could not do a good job differentiating the voices between the various characters. Also, I was annoyed that the author copied and pasted previous chapters into this book. It seemed lazy. I know it was supposed to be a flashback, but the fact that she copied and pasted Word for Word from the previous chapters seem like she didn’t put any effort in it.

UGHHHH! Ellis Park is a TERRIBLE Narrator

I was so excited about getting to the third book until I say it was HIM! Ellis is not a good narrator. Maybe for a male street character and only one person storyline. However, he's garage for multiplayer and cannot pronounce names correctly at all (Her name is MICAH not Meeka damnit)....

His work will mess up a good story

could be better

the narrator messed up the names in the story and he was very very dry while reading it, it was very repetitive from the first 2 books I hope the next book is better then this one because I really enjoy the authors books

Waste of my time.

This is the worst. I wasted my time on this listen. Repeats of the same recap. Too many recaps. I’m petty today and the reader was not “it” either. Sorry not sorry.

Utter disappointment/Good Narrator

I was hoping the series got better but it didn’t....how can this one character be blamed for everyone’s problems? That’s too much. I know you have to create drama but please make it make sense. Not a totally horrible listen but I’m glad I didn’t have to spend any credits.

Repeated events

This book didn't meet my expectations like the first and second book. In this book, u already know who the widow will hook up with next. The right hand man. That sux because it happened each time so I already knew the ending half way through the book. Too much reruns of exactly same chapters in books before.

Nice story

It was very unexpected. Not the usual happy ending and not too much of a bad one. But great middle to keep us intrigued for another series
