A good book
It didn't cover very much of the civil war as I had hoped it would. It was basically the story of two people and their trials and tribulations and how a war brought them together. Two people who were both touched by the war and yet found happiness through an awful era in our country's history.

Second chance love
Two strong but emotionally wounded people find true love and happiness in this wonderful second chance romance. I love Anita Mills writing, she has a wonderful way with words, her characters are strong without being over the top and storyline are engaging without angsty overdramatics or preachy moralising. Loved the story, definitely recommend!
