From Italy to 'Little Italy'

This is a story of an Italian family, their trials and tribulations of coming to America, and the struggles they endured building a new life. It is a story of love, laughter, heartache, and passion as the author grew up in North Denver's Little Italy, served in England in WW II, his first love, his wife, and his family.

Follow his ancestors and his growth as a young Italian boy in the 1920s, to a soldier in the 40s, and to a husband and father. See how this Old Italian views the world and a generation gone by.

Papa is quite the character. His memoir is a slice of Americana whose journey takes us from late 19th century Italy, through several World Wars, to present-day Little Italy in North Denver Colorado. We hope you enjoy his journey as much as we did.
