What a pleasant surprise!
Great book, not your usual serial killer book.
Relatable characters with some real life imperfections thrown in. My boss has a nephew with Tourette’s - he is extremely intelligent and has a great career. I’m so glad to have a writer incorporate this condition into an exceptionally well written book.
Lovable characters and good story line. Will listen to more this author has written!

Storytelling At Its Best
With a twisted, psychopathic serial killer on the run, a dogged, slightly flawed female bounty hunter on this trail and small quirky Pennsylvania town - as the backdrop - how could this be anything but a great story.
Mr. Bauer, once again, creates such compelling, eccentric characters and then weaves them expertly into a unique story you will not want to put down until the last page. I am definitely a fan of his work.
The voice narration is very well done.
I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who likes well written crime thrillers and mysteries.

First and last book by Chris Bauer
First, another stunning performance by Susan Marlow. If not for her narration, I don’t know if I would have completed the book.
The storyline was ok, Bauer’s use of description was awesome. He just used it on describing the subjects penis over and over. Perhaps if there had been more history of why the fugitive was so notorious, the reader would understand more about him. As it is, the story seems to play out over a few days. In that time there is murder , but the story line is about his penis always! The book ends with issues about his penis!
