"This was an emotionally charged, highly sensual book with excellent characters and an intriguing plot." (BDSM Book Reviews)

"Bind was probably the best book I’ve read by Sierra Cartwright to date!" (Ms. Romantic Reads)

Book one in The Donovan Dynasty series.

Only one man can help her. Is she willing to pay his price?

Faced with the potentially overwhelming loss of her family’s fortune, Lara Bertrand turns to the one man who can help her, the gorgeous and powerful Connor Donovan.

She knows he’s dangerous to her on every level. Only desperation would drive her to make such a risky proposition. After all, she knows all about his ruthless nature and relentless determination to succeed.

When the classy, elegant Lara walks into his office with an outrageous proposal, Connor is stunned and more than a little intrigued. Ever since he first met her, he’s been attracted to the cool beauty, but she’s more than kept her distance.

Connor is absolutely willing to help her out. For a price. He not only wants her hand in marriage, but also her total submissive surrender....

Terrible Narrator

Unfortunately, I have been barely able to finish this book and probably won't buy the next one due to the narrator. She enunciates every letter and it makes her sound like a robot. There are emotional moments in the book, and there is no emotion in her voice.

Okay story, terrible narrator

I’m normally pretty tolerant when it comes to different narrators but I just couldn’t take this. I had to stop after about an hour. It was monotone, no differentiation between the male and female voices, and she kept over enunciating her t’s - no one talks like that!

That said, I did end up reading this in my kindle and it was good. Kind of predictable, but worth a read.

Good Story - Poorly Read

I've read this story in book form and loved it but did not like the audio. The reading is stilted and, in places, pronounced as if English is a second language.

You’ve been warned, READ the book

I usually enjoy Sierra Cartwright’s writing so I took a chance on this book despite the reviews. It was a mistake. The narration is flat, it lacks emotion and there is little differentiation between the voices. There are also occasional, and jarring, mispronunciations.

I’d suggest reading the book rather than listening.

Great story, terrible narration

This is the first book I've read by this author and I loved Connor and Lara. His style of D/s is awesome as his primary concern is always his sub. Lara's exploration of D/s is delightful to read and how she loves Connor's dominance is a joy to read about.
Due to his emotionally stunted psyche it takes nearly the entire book for him to recognize what is going on inside his heart. But in the end, love conquers all. Great read.

I hope this author will have more offerings on audible.com soon!!!!! I would recommend Sierra Kline for the narration.
