Publisher's Summary

Harper

I was perfectly content with my life. My career was booming. I traveled. I did as much charity work as I possibly could for the homeless, and I was perfectly happy with the choices I'd made.

At least...I was - until my sister, Dani, came up missing. As an international correspondent, she traveled to war-torn countries, and she'd stepped a little too far over the line. With my sibling kidnapped and running out of time, I had no option except to approach Marcus Colter for help.

Seeing Marcus again after having him break my heart over a decade ago wasn't easy, but to my relief, the old feelings I thought I might still harbor for him were completely gone. He was like a stranger to me. After meeting with him, my only emotion was gratitude that he was going to try to rescue my sister.

Before I could relax about feeling nothing for Marcus, I met Blake Colter, and realized every emotion I thought I'd have for Marcus was suddenly present for the gorgeous US senator.

It was ridiculous. I hadn't seen Blake since we were kids.

How could I have given myself to Marcus so many years ago, yet have these feelings for his twin brother, Blake?

The more time I spent with Blake, waiting for my sister to be rescued, the more confused I became about my attraction to him.

Then, my entire world came crashing down when I found out that everything I thought was true for over a decade wasn't the truth at all.

What happens when a woman finds out that a man she'd both loved and hated for over a decade never really existed at all?

Blake finally gets his Woman

Confusion, miscommunication kept them apart for 12 years. Can you keep true soul mates apart, with this couple you can't. They find each other and start a new. The narrator is awesome and brings the characters to life. This series has been wonderful to read, the character are intertwined which gives you glimpses as to what is continuing on.

Ms. Scott knocked a Home Run

What made the experience of listening to Billionaire Unknown the most enjoyable?

Elizabeth Powers is a super Reader. She can express the meanings of the printed word better than anyone I have listened to & I listen to a lot of audio books. She made it terrific to listen to.

What other book might you compare Billionaire Unknown to and why?

I don't believe you can compare this book with any other simply because it was unique. I haven't read or listened to any book close to this one. Oh, there are other books that are great on their own but this one was special to me.

Which scene was your favorite?

Where Harper finally tells Blake the real reason she kept running away from him. That scene was so poignant as to make me proud of her for having the courage to admit her love for him & risk it all to tell him the truth.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Greatest Love of All Time.

Any additional comments?

Just a beautifully written book. I highly recommend this book as it had the right amount of sex & a terrific love for a lifetime. Even though it is fiction, it is totally believable that this could actually happen although 12 years lost because of a misunderstanding is an awfully long time.

A Love That Never Quit.

From young adults to grown ups. Thru terrible misunderstandings, their unstoppable feelings created a beautiful love story. Scott writes super sexy love scenes & amazing characters. Don’t miss out. Great narration by Ms Powers also.

Fantastic narration!

I had no idea that this was a series until I went to write my review! So, if you’re thinking oh, this book looks interesting… don’t hesitate! I didn’t have any problems jumping in at book 10! Billionaire Unknown: Blake was easily a standalone. Harper and Blake are both really strong characters… it was so sexy, swoonable, with a breath-taking romance with a ton more expense than I ever expected! There was so much confusion and, just plain miscommunication between the two characters. I muttered out-loud several times at them… I mean, talk to each other!!

I was thrilled with Elizabeth Powers’s narration. The way she is able to express the tone and emotions was perfect for this book. I generally enjoy two narrators, a male and female, when the story has the dual POV. However, Powers was great at bringing both characters to life. Bravo!

Spoilers... kind of

For the love of Webster's Dictionary, find another word for tremulous... thesauruses are out there. Using the words shaky, wobbly, unsure,... anything else.

The last 3 chapters you can just skip through, basically it is a very obvious secret she is keeping, for no reason.

"oh no, i am a billionaire, in love with a billionaire, how will we ever get through this (so called) issue"

I am not going to lie and say i got this book expecting some brand new, never been read before, story. However, this one was hard to get through for me. i liked the premise in the beginning, thought it was rather clever, but it got redundant very quickly.

i will keep.on with the series though because they are in the ramance package i supscribe to. Also, i really enjoy the narrator's voice. if the next one is this hard to get through, i will probably move on.

Fantastical and ridiculous

I have listened to several books in this family but they seem to get more ridiculous each time. I was eager to hear Blake’s story and he was rather boring after Zane(he was the only unique so far and not wholly) because she rights these folks personality so close to the same. I really want to know the other twins story but I don’t think I can stomach the female character. Just the parts she play in this one made me want to smack her. All of these are extremely far fetched which usually doesn’t bother me but this one hit ridiculous,
a lot. There are some good parts or I wouldn’t have finished but it was with a lot of eye rolling that I muttered through.

A sexy and suspenseful audio

"Billionaire Unknown- Blake" is the 10th book in J.S. Scott's Billionaire series, but can most definitely be read as a stand alone. I've not read any of the other books and I wasn't lost at all. The start of this book takes place 12 years before the actual story.

Blake and Harper have a bit of a history, thought that history is muddled when it comes to Harper's memory. She doesn't know the whole story. Blake is currently a senator and Harper does work that she's passionate about, working with the homeless. These two haven't seen each other in over 12 years, but Harper's sister is in danger and she goes to Blake's twin brother to help.

It doesn't matter how long these two have been apart, the chemistry between them is still there. It never left. I loved watching these two rekindle their romance and couldn't wait for the revelation to be made where Harper found out what really happened between them. This story was sexy and suspenseful. I listened to the audio book and the narrator, Elizabeth Powers, did a great job voicing Harper, Blake, and even the few chapters we got from Marcus (I'm looking forward to his book!).

Overall, an enjoyable audio!

A way better J.S. Scott Book

This is the second book I've read by J.S. Scot and it is a way better read. A much better expression of the storyline and the writing was more mature. From the start to the finish I was hooked. The level of details outlined as well as the continuity present made me couldn't complain like the previous book. Just like the first book, Elizabeth Powers was on point in the narration. Very good read and I would recommend this one to others. Gonna read the others in the series to see if they will hold a candle to this one.

Surprise

I’m very surprised about this book. It’s the first one that I honestly didn’t like. I just thought the whole book was ridiculous. I kept hoping it would improve and it wouldn’t. This one was a flop for me. Sorry

I loved it as well as the entire series.

This was so good. This entire series has kept me hooked and I don’t want it to end. I can’t wait to read about Marcus as well.

My favourite!!

Is it just me or does each book in JS Scott’s Billionaire series just keeps getting better and better?!! I looooooved Blake and Harper’s story, and I adored that they still harboured feelings for each other 12 years later! What set this book apart was that it was written in dual first person POVs which added more emotional depth to each character! We are even treated to chapters told from Marcus, the twin brother of Blake, which sets the perfect prelude to the next book!
