Publisher's Summary

Harper

I was perfectly content with my life. My career was booming. I traveled. I did as much charity work as I possibly could for the homeless, and I was perfectly happy with the choices I'd made.

At least...I was - until my sister, Dani, came up missing. As an international correspondent, she traveled to war-torn countries, and she'd stepped a little too far over the line. With my sibling kidnapped and running out of time, I had no option except to approach Marcus Colter for help.

Seeing Marcus again after having him break my heart over a decade ago wasn't easy, but to my relief, the old feelings I thought I might still harbor for him were completely gone. He was like a stranger to me. After meeting with him, my only emotion was gratitude that he was going to try to rescue my sister.

Before I could relax about feeling nothing for Marcus, I met Blake Colter, and realized every emotion I thought I'd have for Marcus was suddenly present for the gorgeous US senator.

It was ridiculous. I hadn't seen Blake since we were kids.

How could I have given myself to Marcus so many years ago, yet have these feelings for his twin brother, Blake?

The more time I spent with Blake, waiting for my sister to be rescued, the more confused I became about my attraction to him.

Then, my entire world came crashing down when I found out that everything I thought was true for over a decade wasn't the truth at all.

What happens when a woman finds out that a man she'd both loved and hated for over a decade never really existed at all?

Blake finally gets his Woman

Confusion, miscommunication kept them apart for 12 years. Can you keep true soul mates apart, with this couple you can't. They find each other and start a new. The narrator is awesome and brings the characters to life. This series has been wonderful to read, the character are intertwined which gives you glimpses as to what is continuing on.

Ms. Scott knocked a Home Run

What made the experience of listening to Billionaire Unknown the most enjoyable?

Elizabeth Powers is a super Reader. She can express the meanings of the printed word better than anyone I have listened to & I listen to a lot of audio books. She made it terrific to listen to.

What other book might you compare Billionaire Unknown to and why?

I don't believe you can compare this book with any other simply because it was unique. I haven't read or listened to any book close to this one. Oh, there are other books that are great on their own but this one was special to me.

Which scene was your favorite?

Where Harper finally tells Blake the real reason she kept running away from him. That scene was so poignant as to make me proud of her for having the courage to admit her love for him & risk it all to tell him the truth.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Greatest Love of All Time.

Any additional comments?

Just a beautifully written book. I highly recommend this book as it had the right amount of sex & a terrific love for a lifetime. Even though it is fiction, it is totally believable that this could actually happen although 12 years lost because of a misunderstanding is an awfully long time.

Surprise

I’m very surprised about this book. It’s the first one that I honestly didn’t like. I just thought the whole book was ridiculous. I kept hoping it would improve and it wouldn’t. This one was a flop for me. Sorry

I loved it as well as the entire series.

This was so good. This entire series has kept me hooked and I don’t want it to end. I can’t wait to read about Marcus as well.

Sweet second chance love story!

Sweet second chance love story! Time may have passed but Harper and Blake had a chance to make things right and make up for lost time. I enjoyed their story and was lost in their world!

12 Years Apart

Can one night together 12 years before put two lives on hold? I loved Blake and Harper's story when I first read it and I loved it when I listened to it! Elizabeth Powers does a wonderful job bringing JS Scott's characters to life.

Worth the wait

With a man like Blake who wouldn't want to wait ?????? I sure would have, wouldn't you ? I just wish the real issue would have come out earlier. See how much communication means in relationships ???? How much heartache would it have saved both of them ????

Sudden shift to first person narration...

I have read the other books in this series and they were all from the third person perspective. This one randomly shifts to first person and I don't understand why. The third person works s much better. Other than that it's basically the same story. Hopefully Marcus will be more interesting.

My favourite!!

Is it just me or does each book in JS Scott’s Billionaire series just keeps getting better and better?!! I looooooved Blake and Harper’s story, and I adored that they still harboured feelings for each other 12 years later! What set this book apart was that it was written in dual first person POVs which added more emotional depth to each character! We are even treated to chapters told from Marcus, the twin brother of Blake, which sets the perfect prelude to the next book!
