No way out. No light. And something monstrous beneath the surface.

When a team of elite spelunkers descends into an uncharted cave system in the Pacific Northwest, they expect danger—but not the kind with claws. A sudden collapse traps them deep underground, cut off from the surface and hunted by a predator that’s been hidden for centuries.

Something massive moves through the flooded chambers. Something that watches… waits… and kills without sound. As the survivors navigate rising water and total darkness, they discover the cave is more than just a tomb—it’s a territory. And they are the intruders.

From Ethan Blackwood comes a pulse-pounding underground survival horror packed with claustrophobia, cryptid terror, and the fear of what lives in the places light never touches.

If you get this book hoping to read ( or listen ) about a huge man-ape you might be surprised that there is no such creature in it. Oh yes, there is a monster. Yes indeed. However, it’s nothing like Bigfoot. I hope I didn’t ruin the big surprise. It’s a wild ride in the darkness underground. Okay, if you’ve read Ethan Blackwood’s other Bigfoot books, there might be a slim mythological tie to the creatures found there.
Entertaining and kept me guessing till the last page.
