Really enjoyed this one!

I really enjoyed the latest Fairhaven audiobook! I liked this grumpy/sunshine trope and seeing them both blossom in the relationship was endearing but also so much tension between them too! I had been waiting for Varek for a bit so I was happy he got to have his HEA finally!

I loved Posy, she was adorable from the very beginning and how empathetic she was. I felt so bad for Varek and his past and how others had initially treated him but he retreated so quickly and definitively no one could give their olive branch and try and include him back in the fold. I wanted to shake him when he was worried about Posy's rep and her business because of his history. But I think the main reason I bumped my 4.5 stars to a 5 star review was because of what Varek does and how he and Posy work so well together. Varek uses the woods and land and has a big affinity to all these growing, earth, plant life. I am a huge gardener and love these things so hearing how he finds the different species and know what they are good for and helps cultivate them made my green heart happy. I loved the idea of their business adventure and how he continues it even when he screwed things up between them. I love Flora's intervening and the other cameos trying to help them out/get them back together haha.

Audio was good, I felt the performances this time and really wanted to hug Varek so badly. He shouldn't have had to deal with that so young and the narrator did a good job giving us all that emotion despite Varek being so gruff and not opening up a lot. Posy's narrator did a good job with her personality and performances. I could envision her in my mind and wanting to be friends with her haha.

Can't wait for more from this world on audio!
