  • The Kings of the Earth Part 2: Hidden Rulers, Wealth, and the Rise of the Antichrist - Episode 266
    Jan 12 2026
In Part 2 of The Kings of the Earth, Scott and John continue their biblical examination of the hidden power structures shaping the modern world. Scripture reveals that true authority does not begin in politics but in the spiritual realm, where unseen powers influence earthly rulers. The Bible describes “the kings of the earth” as leaders who set themselves against God and His Christ. These rulers are driven by wealth, land, and power, seeking control of the world’s systems in preparation for the rise of the Man of Sin. Through financial dominance and real-estate control, they prepare to hand authority to the Antichrist. This episode connects prophetic Scripture with present-day realities, exposing how fallen angels manipulate human leaders and how spiritual warfare shapes global events. In This Episode: The biblical meaning of “the kings of the earth”How wealth and land ownership become tools of dominationThe spiritual forces operating behind world governmentsWhy political change alone cannot fix a spiritual problemThe connection between financial control and the AntichristFallen angels and their influence on earthly kingdomsWhy rulers seek immortality through technology and geneticsThe coming judgment of the kings of the earthGod’s final offer of mercy before Christ returns Scriptures Used (KJV): Psalm 2; Micah 1–2; Luke 4:5–8; Luke 17:21–30; Revelation 17; Psalm 75; Psalm 94; Matthew 23; Daniel 10; Jeremiah 28; Psalm 102; Isaiah 61; Psalm 72; James 5; 1 Timothy 6; Revelation 14; Ephesians 6 Key Themes: Earthly kingdoms are influenced by spiritual powersWealth is used as a weapon to control nationsThe kings of the earth will surrender power to the beastPride and the pursuit of glory mirror Lucifer’s fallChrist will overthrow every corrupt throne Final Word: Downloadable Study Notes The kings of the earth believe they are building a lasting empire, but Scripture declares their rule is temporary. • Acknowledge the Lord in All Thy Ways | Trusting God for a Closer Walk
    Jan 11 2026

In this lesson from Unlock the Bible Now, Brother Scott Mitchell teaches from Proverbs 3:5–6, showing what it truly means to acknowledge the Lord in every part of life. Using the Hebrew word yâda‛—translated “acknowledge”—he explains that God is not calling for casual recognition, but for relational knowing marked by awareness, trust, and daily dependence.

This message traces the struggle between trusting God’s wisdom and leaning on human understanding, beginning in Genesis and continuing throughout Scripture. Brother Scott shows how choosing God’s way is choosing life, while man’s way leads to death. He connects this truth to Paul’s desire to “know” Christ, not as information, but as living fellowship.

Listeners are encouraged to move beyond acknowledging God only in church, crisis, or ministry, and instead to live with constant awareness of His presence—at work, at rest, in joy, and in hardship. The lesson also explains what it means to be filled with the Spirit, emphasizing gratitude, prayer, worship, and letting the peace of God rule in the heart.

This teaching calls believers to choose life by acknowledging the Lord in all their ways, trusting Him daily, and walking in close communion with Christ.

    Key Scriptures (KJV):
    Proverbs 3:5–7
    Genesis 3:5, 22–24
    Deuteronomy 30:19
    Proverbs 14:12; 16:25
    Genesis 4:1
    Philippians 3:8–11
    Matthew 28:18–20
    Ephesians 5:15–21
    Philippians 4:4–9
    Colossians 3:15–17
    1 Peter 3:15

    Main Themes:

    • What it means to acknowledge the Lord
    • Trusting God instead of human understanding
    • Choosing life by choosing God’s way
    • Knowing Christ through daily fellowship
    • Being filled with the Spirit through gratitude and prayer

  • The Kings of the Earth: From Molech to Modern Elites — A Biblical Warning (Part 1) - Episode 265
    Jan 5 2026

Who are the kings of the earth, and why do they consistently oppose the Lord and His Christ? Scripture makes it clear that these rulers—both seen and unseen—are united in rebellion against God, convinced they will never be held accountable for their actions.

In this episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts begin a biblical examination of the kings of the earth as revealed throughout Scripture. From Psalm 2 to Revelation, the Bible describes a coordinated resistance to God’s authority involving earthly rulers, spiritual powers, and ancient false gods that demanded allegiance and sacrifice.

The discussion traces the meaning of “king” in Scripture, connecting ancient figures such as Molech and Milcom to the broader biblical pattern of dominion, idolatry, and spiritual rebellion. The hosts also examine how pride, deception, and the pursuit of power define these kings, culminating in their final confrontation with Jesus Christ.

While Scripture delivers a firm warning of coming judgment, it also extends a final call to repentance. Even the kings of the earth are not beyond redemption—yet their time is short.

    Key Topics Discussed
    • The biblical definition of the “kings of the earth”
    • Psalm 2 and the coordinated rebellion against the Lord
    • The meaning of melek (king) in Hebrew Scripture
    • Molech and Milcom as ancient “kings” and false gods
    • Spiritual rulers working through earthly systems
    • Pride, power, and the illusion of unaccountable rule
    • God’s promised judgment on rebellious kings
    • Christ’s ultimate victory as King of kings
    • A final call to repentance before the Day of the Lord
    Scripture References (KJV) Psalm 2:1–12 Acts 4:19–28 Zephaniah 1:2–6 Amos 5:26–27 Psalm 62:4 Psalm 52:1–7 Psalm 64:1–10 John 15:18–19 Luke 21:24 Jeremiah 28:14 Isaiah 13:9–13 Revelation 17:10–18 Revelation 19:11–21 Psalm 72:8–15 Ephesians 5:11–15 Ezekiel 33:11 1 Timothy 2:1–6 Word Study Kingמֶלֶךְ (meh’-lek) Meaning: king, ruler, one who exercises dominion

    Molech – “king”
    Milcom – “great king”
False gods associated with dominion, idolatry, and sacrifice

Conclusion The kings of the earth—ancient and modern—are warned directly by Scripture. Their power is temporary. Their rebellion is recorded. Their judgment is certain. Yet, until the final moment, the door to repentance remains open.

Kiss the Son… for the King is coming.

  • The Valley of Dry Bones: Understanding Ezekiel 37 and Israel’s Restoration
    Jan 4 2026

Ezekiel 37 gives us one of the most striking visions in Scripture: the valley of dry bones. Many believe this prophecy was fulfilled when Israel became a nation again in 1948, but the Word of God points to something far greater—a future resurrection that only the Spirit of God can bring.

In this Bible study, Scott Mitchell walks through Ezekiel’s vision verse by verse, connecting it with prophecies in Daniel, John, Hosea, Romans, and Isaiah. The message reveals how the Spirit—ruach in Hebrew and pneuma in Greek—will one day breathe life into Israel’s graves. This isn’t symbolic or political; it’s the literal restoration of God’s covenant people at the return of Jesus Christ.

    Key points include:
    • Why the Valley of Dry Bones is not about political restoration in 1948
    • The meaning of ruach and pneuma as breath, wind, and Spirit
    • How resurrection and being “born again” are inseparably tied to the Holy Spirit
    • The future covenant of peace promised to Israel under their true King, Jesus, being the basis of their regathering
    • Why the church must focus on proclaiming the Gospel rather than misinterpreting prophecy

Takeaway: This study challenges modern assumptions and reminds us of God’s sure promises. When the Redeemer comes, the graves will open, the bones will rise, and Israel will stand alive in covenant with Christ. Until then, the call remains for all—Jew and Gentile alike—to turn to Jesus, the only way to eternal life. • The Dead Husband: Freed from the Law to Be Married to Christ
    Dec 28 2025

In this Bible lesson, Brother Scott Mitchell teaches on the meaning of The Dead Husband, a powerful analogy from Romans 7. Just as a widow is freed from her husband’s law at his death, believers are set free from the law through the body of Christ to be joined to Him in grace.

Scott shows how the law, represented by Ruth’s late husband Mahlon, was weak and unable to bring righteousness. In contrast, Boaz—who represents Christ—redeemed Ruth, a type of the Gentile church. Through this beautiful picture, Scripture reveals that believers are no longer bound by the old covenant but are made alive in Christ.

    Scripture References: Romans 7:1–4; 1 Samuel 25:39–42; Deuteronomy 25:5; Matthew 22:23–30; Ruth 4:13–17; Isaiah 65:1–3; Romans 10:1–4; Revelation 22:12–13; Isaiah 44:6; Ruth 4:1–6; Matthew 21:33–39; Matthew 21:42–43; Romans 8:2–4; Hebrews 7:18–19; Key Points
    • The Law as the Dead Husband: Paul uses marriage to show how the law’s authority ended through Christ’s death (Romans 7:1–4).
    • Ruth and Boaz as Types: Ruth, a Gentile, pictures the church; Boaz pictures Christ the Redeemer. The nearer kinsman, representing religious Israel, would mi not redeem her, but Boaz could (Ruth 4:1–6).
    • Israel’s Rejection of Christ: The Sadducees’ reliance on the law revealed their unbelief, but Jesus declared Himself the God of the living (Matthew 22:23–30).
    • Freedom in Christ: The law revealed sin but could not save. Christ fulfilled the law and nailed it to His cross (Colossians 2:13–14).
    • The Mystery of Marriage: Believers are joined to Christ, not by works of the law, but by grace through faith (Ephesians 5:30–32; 2 Corinthians 11:2).
Takeaway Salvation cannot come through the works of the law, for the law was weak through the flesh. Only through Christ’s death and resurrection are we redeemed, justified, and free. He is the true Redeemer who brings righteousness and life to all who believe. Reflection Questions:
    1. How does Paul’s analogy of marriage in Romans 7 help us understand freedom from the law?
    2. In what ways does Ruth’s redemption by Boaz illustrate Christ’s redemption of the church?
    3. Where are you tempted to rely on your own works instead of resting in Christ’s finished work?

  • Special Christmas Message - The True Meaning of Christmas: Why Jesus Came and What His Birth Really Means
    Dec 22 2025

In this special Christmas message from the Bible Mysteries Podcast, Scott Mitchell addresses the biblical meaning of Christ’s birth and corrects many of the assumptions that surround the modern celebration of Christmas. Scripture reveals that Jesus did not come to establish immediate peace on earth, but to make peace between God and men through His sacrificial death.

As another year closes and Christ has not yet returned, believers are reminded that we are living in the last days and are called to love His appearing. Jesus first came in humility—born in a manger, despised and rejected. He will appear again in majesty, power, and judgment to establish His kingdom and bring true peace to the earth.

This message carefully examines the biblical accounts in Matthew and Luke, clarifying common misunderstandings about the Nativity, the timing of the wise men, and the meaning behind their gifts. Gold, frankincense, and myrrh declare Jesus as King, High Priest, and Prophet, pointing directly to His suffering and death on the cross.

Scott also explains what “peace on earth” truly means according to Scripture—not peace among nations, but reconciliation between God and sinners through Jesus Christ. Salvation is offered freely by grace, not by works, and every person must choose whether to accept that peace now or face God’s coming judgment.

This Christmas message closes with a clear gospel call and an encouragement to be certain of your salvation, to live as an ambassador for Christ, and to look forward to His return.

    Key Topics Covered
    • The true biblical meaning of Christmas
    • Christ’s first coming versus His second coming
    • Why Jesus did not bring peace on earth at His birth
    • The symbolism of the wise men’s gifts
    • Peace with God through the cross of Christ
    • Salvation by grace, not works
    • Loving and longing for Christ’s appearing
    Scripture References (KJV)
    • 2 Timothy 4:7–8
    • Matthew 2:1–12
    • Matthew 2:13–15
    • Matthew 2:16–18
    • Matthew 2:19–23
    • Luke 2:8–16
    • Matthew 10:34–36
    • Romans 5:1–2
    • Ephesians 2:13–18
    • Romans 10:13–15
    • 2 Corinthians 5:17–21
Takeaway Christmas is not simply a celebration of a birth—it is a declaration that God provided peace through His Son. Jesus first came to pay for sin. He will come again to reign. The question is not whether Christ will return, but whether you are at peace with God when He does.

Merry Christmas, and may the coming year find you secure in Christ and longing for His appearing.

  • Chosen for the Battle: Understanding Suffering, Endurance, and God’s Purpose
    Dec 21 2025
Many believers wrestle with the question of God’s will, often assuming it should lead to comfort and ease. In this Bible lesson, Scripture reveals a different calling. God chooses His people for spiritual battle—not physical combat, but endurance, faithfulness, and perseverance in a fallen world. Suffering is not a detour from God’s purpose; it is often the very ground where faith is proven and refined. Key Teaching Points God’s calling is not defined by prosperity, but by faithfulness and obedienceBelievers are described in Scripture as soldiers, called to endure hardshipSpiritual warfare is real, but Christ has already secured the victorySuffering is not evidence of God’s absence, but often of His purposeContentment and trust in God’s provision are essential in the battleEternal rewards far outweigh present affliction Scripture Focus (KJV) 2 Timothy 2:3–4 – Enduring hardness as good soldiers of Jesus Christ1 Timothy 1:18 – Warring a good warfare by faith and a good conscienceEphesians 6:10–18 – The armor of God and standing firm in spiritual conflictColossians 2:13–15 – Christ’s victory over principalities and powersPhilippians 1:27–30 – Suffering for Christ as part of the callingRomans 8:14–18 – Present suffering and future glory2 Timothy 3:10–13 – Godliness and persecution1 Corinthians 9:16–18, 23–25 – Faithful service and the incorruptible crown2 Corinthians 11:23–28 – Paul’s testimony of sufferingPhilippians 4:11–13, 19 – Contentment and God’s provisionMatthew 6:25–33 – Trusting God rather than living in anxiety2 Timothy 4:7–8 – Finishing the fight and keeping the faith Major Themes Covered Chosen for the Battle Believers are not called to a life of ease but to faithfulness in spiritual conflict. The hardships faced are not random attacks but part of a divinely appointed calling. Spiritual Warfare, Not Physical Combat The armor of God equips believers to stand, not to fight in the flesh. Christ has already won the victory; our role is to remain faithful. Suffering as a Gift Scripture presents suffering for Christ not as punishment, but as participation in His purpose, leading to eternal reward. The Danger of the Prosperity Gospel Measuring God’s favor by material abundance distorts biblical truth. God promises provision, not excess, and strength, not comfort. Endurance and Eternal Perspective Present affliction is temporary. The reward is eternal, and faithfulness is what the Lord honors. Takeaway You may not have chosen the battle you are in, but God chose you for it. Stand firm in faith, trust in Christ’s finished work, and remain faithful to the calling. The battle is real—but so is the promise of glory to come. • Job and the Great Pyramid: Biblical Witness in Stone | Ryan Pitterson - Episode 264
    Dec 15 2025

The Great Pyramid of Giza stands unlike any other structure in Egypt—without hieroglyphs, pagan dedications, or burial remains. In this episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts are joined by author Ryan Pitterson to examine whether Scripture reveals the Great Pyramid as a biblical witness rather than a monument to the Pharaohs. Through careful comparison of Scripture, language, and prophecy, the discussion considers Job, foundations, cornerstones, and how God may have left a testimony in stone pointing to Christ and the New Jerusalem.

    Key Scriptures (KJV)
    • Isaiah 19:19–25
    • Job 38:6
    • Isaiah 28:16
    • Luke 4:9–12
    • Ephesians 2:20–22
    • Daniel 2:45
    • Revelation 21:1–3
    • Galatians 4:26
    • Ephesians 3:14–19
    Discussion Highlights
    • Why the Great Pyramid stands apart from every other Egyptian pyramid
    • Isaiah’s prophecy of an altar and pillar to the Lord in Egypt
    • God’s use of architectural language when speaking to Job
    • The biblical meaning of cornerstones, pinnacles, and foundations
    • Hebrew and Greek word connections pointing to Christ as the chief cornerstone
    • The significance of the missing capstone and the rejected stone
    • The empty stone coffer and its connection to resurrection imagery
    • Whether the Great Pyramid points forward to the New Jerusalem
    • The possibility that Job was a royal figure familiar with divine architecture
    • How God reveals mysteries in His timing through Scripture and creation
About the Guest Ryan Pitterson is the author of The Judgment of the Nephilim and The Final Nephilim, with a forthcoming book titled The Earth Before Adam. His work focuses on biblical prophecy, the coming antichrist, pre-Adamic history, and the spiritual conflict revealed through Scripture. Why This Episode Matters Scripture calls believers to compare spiritual things with spiritual. This episode challenges traditional assumptions about ancient monuments by placing the Bible at the center of interpretation. Rather than exalting human achievement, the discussion asks whether God established a witness in Egypt that aligns with His redemptive plan revealed from Genesis to Revelation.
