Beyond the Hago Gate is a tantalising, action adventure story which will keep you gripped from the outset. The Kingdom of Harlem is ruled by the feckless King Bantu; a young bitter man who is blighted by dark secrets and terrible nightmares. Riddled with guilt and fear, he is plagued by an event which took place when he was just 16-years-old and which still casts a murky shadow over the entire Kingdom.
The Hago Gate was the setting for this life-changing day and to the King, this is a cursed place filled with poison and deadly secrets, which is why he has banished everyone from ever entering. His royal guards patrol the boundary constantly in an attempt to prevent any adventurers from discovering what lies behind it.
Zogi, however, is a 10-year-old boy with a fierce taste for adventure. He dreams about the vast treasures which lie behind the Hago Gate and, armed with his intuition, a magic apple, and an unexplainable mystical force, he makes it past the guards and over the forbidden gate. Discovering that this is a world of shadows, devastation and destruction, and that dangerous characters lurk there, too, Zogi fears for his life.
Can Zogi really challenge and defeat the King without consequence? Will he ever escape the Hago Gate and return to the safety of his family and friends? Join him and King Bantu on an epic adventure which leads to the unearthing of a force more powerful than fear or determination; a force which opens the door to creativity and a realm of limitless possibilities.
