Enjoyable!

I enjoyed this sweet and clean book. Some of the characters were introduced in a previous book but this can stand alone. I enjoyed the journey of faith that was portrayed in this story. The characters were well developed and each had their own problems and victories. The plot moved along well and had enough suspense in it to keep you listening.

The narrator did a good job with this, which made you feel as if you were connecting with each character.

At times we all are broken, but we can be whole!

The main characters in this book all have problems in their background and it tends to come out in their actions. Isn't that the way it is in life? We think someone is a grouch, or a snob, when really they could just be shy or insecure about what people think of them. The author has done a great job of showing us to not look at the external person but to take the time to get to know who they really are as we have no idea what a person could be going through or has gone through. We get to see an entirely different side of Jules in this book and I found the story to be refreshing in the ways things came to pass. I'm enjoying this series about the people that live in Eron and the many battles that people have.

Time for new beginnings or broken beyond repair?

Jules and Lorenzo each come from troubled past and have things they would much prefer to forget. Yet Lorenzo‘s past catches up with him, and Jules is dragged into it.

I appreciated reading how these young Christians worked to apply their newfound faith to their difficult circumstances.

Christian story of forgiveness and love

This book features an unlikely couple. Two people from different worlds. Yet both want to find forgiveness and redemption.

forgiven and made new

Sometimes are past comes back to haunt us or invades into our present. Lorenzo wants desperately to start a new life but... Jules long for peace. These two characters have suffered much in their lives but have found hope in the Lord. They make such a great couple and bring encouragement to each other. Their is an element of suspense and danger that kept me reading. Loved Eli, Jule's dad. Forgiveness is hard to accept and give. This book was thought provoking in regard to forgiveness.

Reformed

This story is a sweet romance filled with a change of heart and a change of view. Changing can be hard, but doing the right thing and making up for past mistakes can be even harder. Being accepted by those around you can make the changes easier. Good story with a timely message.
