Love it. This author knows how to write a great story. The reader knows how to make each characters voice come alive!

I love how the story continues and grows. Old friends and new friends fighting together with their Dragons to save the day and Mahldabar. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I’ll keep listening as always

I was excited for this new installment of the series! As always, Josh Hurley’s narration was excellent. I really appreciate how he uses his voice for female characters, and changes the tone depending on whose POV we’re following.

This specific book spent a lot of time rehashing very simple character-based things... like “He’s stupid, I don’t know how to be friends with anyone, did I mention he’s stupid and that I’m sullen? I thought about how I’m sullen and unfriendly and how he’s dumb...”

But despite that, I continue to be invested in these characters and this whole world. Not my favorite of the series thus far, but I’m excited for the next one! ♥️

Coming of age part 2

I really like that so much thought has gone into the actual mechanics of the story. The way things are explained, plausibly, make the story, especially for me, very enjoyable.
