Good story choppy transitions
The transitions seemed a little choppy and were distracting.
One minute they are at a ball walking down a hallway talking and three paragraphs later they are in a handsome cab.

Narrator has changed pace and great at normal speed
It would appear that the narrator has finally sped up a little and to my surprise, I was able to listen at normal speed and she read superbly, all the characters and voices are still bought to life and the series so far has been brilliant!!
Bravo Julie McElwain, so hope there are many more of these to come!!!

Another great Story
I really love these stories - I have read/listened to all 4 now
The story draws you into the era with the same characters you have grown to know in the previous releases
An easy and enjoyable listen and I really hope they continue to be released

this is a series I hang out for
I love these books. I really like that this book draws in our protagonist without any coincidence. the third coincidence was getting a little too much after the last edition, bit this one is nothing like that. there's also less "but you're a woman!" moments. I know this would be realistic for the the, but I didn't really want to read that conversation over and over. so... what's left is a fab time traveling detective story that's entirely enthralling. thanks!!
