Publisher's summary

Summer had returned. The nightlife lit up the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama, with scantily clad sun-kissed bodies, live music, the smell of fresh cooked seafood.

Taking it all in, he wondered if coming back had been the best thing. He wasn’t the same man who had driven out of town a year ago on the motorcycle he’d bought after his best friend’s wedding. From the messy blonde curls he’d let grow out, to the tattoos now covering his arms, part of his chest, and even the side of his neck, it all represented a part of his journey.

Eli Hardy was back, but he didn’t plan on staying for long.

This book felt rushed

I loved the rosemary beach and sea breeze series and the first two books were good but while I love the story overall I feel it ended abruptly I’ve listened to it multiple times and still feel this way

good follow up story

like most books with happy endings, this one was slightly predictable except for the big portion with Eli. His life in Atlanta was a surprise. the narration was great and I was able to get lost in the story.

Why Did they mess up Eli?

I really loved Eli in the first two books. He was so sweet and caring then stupid Cruz comes along and messes him all up. I don't understand how these dumb women of Rosemary Beach would over look him because he's a sweet guy. I kind of understand why Bliss didn't end up with him. I thought Nate was a nice guy but Cruz was a selfish jerk who never got better in my opinion. The whole thing about Eli leaving and the stuff he went through was a kind of worthless. I mean come on. I didn't think the stuff he went through was so bad that he couldn't tell anyone. I know that it was terrible and heartbreaking but I would have thought that he would have wanted to share some of the memories with his family instead of not telling anyone about anything. I really liked Ophelia. I thought she was a lovely person and her feeling were normal. I'm glad that her and Eli ended up together. I was hoping they would in the last book. I really liked both narrators in this book. They did a great job.

Missing something for me.

I have an unhealthy obsession with these two series, the fact that we get the children thrills me to no end. That being said this wasn’t my favorite. I wanted something more. I guess I just didn’t feel the connection with these two like I have pretty much any other characters of Abbi’s.

I wanted to love this book so hard and I liked it ok. But again something was missing for me.

The narration was ok, I liked that they both sounded right for the characters.

Half A**sed

The book sucked. It seems like the author just threw some stuff together and called it a day. There was a lot of rambling between characters and there wasn’t a whole lot of substanance throughout the book. Part of the story was the exact same as Abbi Glines other book- Nate & Bliss’s story- so it felt very unoriginal. I would not waste money on this book and i’m really disappointed because I really love the Seabreeze and Rosemary series.
