Braxton is a wolf shifter we met in the first books of the series. He was the bartender of the strip club who helped Branden and Eva rescue Jayden. He also rescued one of the strippers from rape. He was fired for helping the stripper as he injured the rapist. Braxton returns home to find his abusive father beaten to death in the kitchen. His mother sees him leaning over her dead husband with blood on him and accuses him of murder. He is arrested, but manages to escape on the way to jail. He returns home for his motorcycle then heads to a state where there is no extradition. Three wolf assassins chase him down, shoot him in his shoulder on a mountainous road where he falls down a very deep and rocky cliff. After waking he manages to drag himself in wolf form to a B & B which has a safe feel to it. He whines on the porch until Kate finds him and takes him into her home. She calls her friend who is a veterinarian who treats him for the gunshot wound. This is a beautifully written and narrated romance. Both lead characters are sensitive and loving.

I was gifted this audiobook with a request for an honest review.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this series. Book two has Braxton running for his life as the wolf assassins stalk are given orders to kill him for a crime he was falsely accused of. The romance is hot! The mystery is intriguing. The characters are familiar as the cast of book one is actively involved. Talented writing and kick ass narration make this a winner!

Great story.

This is the second book i have ready this author and it is just as good as the first book. I love the story line and characters. There is action, romance and humor. I just love granny. I definitely will be getting more in this series. The narrator is great he really brings the characters to life. I hope there will be more in audio book form. I was gifted this book exchange for an honest review.

fun distractions!

would love 2 narrators -female and male but Jeffery did a great job didn't distract from the story .. looking forward to the next in the series being available on audible until then I'll have to crack open the book and only take the journey while at home! keep up the great story telling Jodi!

Another winner

I chuckled at book 1. I outright laughed at this one. So many wonderful moments. The wrap-up of the suspense felt a bit like an afterthought, but I honestly didn’t care. It was still fabulous.

My Thoughts on Beneath a Bloodlust Moon

It just keeps getting better!

Beneath a Bloodlust Moon is book two in this fantastic series by Jodi Vaughn and I absolutely loved it. I laughed at the hilarious antics of some of the characters. I fell in love with Braxton and Kate as they fell in love with each other. And I felt like my emotions were on edge as the story played out and I was left in suspense about the fate of them.

Once again Jeffery Kafer did such an amazing job with the narration on this one. I didn't want to stop listening but was so happy with what I had heard even at the end of the book.

This is definitely one I would recommend to all my fellow werewolf romance fans.

Loved this! I really enjoyed Jodi's take on werewolves! Braxton is falsely accused of murdering his abusive father, he sets out for neutral territory and to prove his innocence, but when he is shot and run off the road by werewolf assassins, he barely escapes with his life and luckily he finds Grace. When Grace finds an injured wolf outside of her bed and breakfast, she doesn't know that her normal life is about to get a bit crazy. Loved the passion and chemistry between Braxton and Grace! Sweet and hot! I love how honest Braxton is with Grace, and how Grace handles all of this craziness being thrown at her. I felt the connection between them, and I loved reading about their feelings growing. Loved all of the side characters! There's some great humor when some unruly romance authors enter the picture! Such fun! There's also some characters from the previous book in this book, which I enjoyed! I haven't read the first book yet, and didn't feel like I was lost with this story, so I don't think it's absolutely necessary to read book one first, but I definitely want to read it after reading this book! I listened to the audiobook version of this book, and think the narrator did a good job. He reads both male and female parts, and he did great with both. Heartwarming, Fun, Sexy, and some great action! Looking forward to reading much more by Jodi Vaughn!

Steamy, sexy and unjustly accused

Beneath A Blood List Moon is a steam well written paranormal romance novel. The book is descriptive and fast paced with extra steam. The narrator was absolutely amazing. The steamy hot sex was amazing. I loved the plot and how well the story unfolded. The twist at the end was something that I did not see coming.

Entertaining!

Another highly entertaining story from Jodi Vaughn. This second book in the Rise of the Arkansas Werewolves is Braxton and Kate’s story. We met Braxton in the first book when he helped Damon and now it is Damon’s turn to help out Braxton. Braxton is on the run & shot by wolf assassins after being accused of a murder he didn’t commit. Kate finds Braxton, in wolf form, injured on her front step and she is immediately drawn to him. Once again we are entertained with action, suspense, romance and comic relief with granny and a group of female writers. Of course Jeffrey Kafer does an exceptional job with the narration bringing the story to life and making listening to this book extremely enjoyable. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am providing an unbiased review. Definitely worth purchasing.
