A memoir on personal triumph.

I've been meaning to leave a review beyond star-ratings for awhile now and, after talking with a coworker about Bridget's story, I decided I better write my review before I put it off any longer.
This book is a great listen for anyone who has ever dealt with health or body image issues that have impacted their self-esteem. Bridget shares her experience battling those issues with hiking and training towards that lifetime bucket list item of summitting Kilimanjaro. It helped me to reflect on my own battles and journey.
I listened to most of this book during quiet times at work in January and early February, but stopped the book right as Bridget began to travel to Tanzania because it was time for my own travels to Tanzania.
After I returned home from standing on top of Kilimanjaro, I began to listen again. Though we took different routes and used different guide outfits, our experiences had so many similarities that I felt like I was right there with her as she described her trek to 19,340ft.
Bridget's telling of her experiences hiking munros has led me to add Ben Nevis and others to my bucket list.
