Tension ratchets up
What's the status of society in Boyd Craven's; The Farm? Well, hold onto your hair. Nicely done!
This one got good really quickly. I am always a fan of the underdog, and this book provided plenty. Just about the time the government lackies thought they had the upper hand, they found out they underestimated those hick farmers.
Now, because it ends with a cliffhanger, I have to start the next book.
Dammit Boyd!

Decent story
The concern with stories like this is the almost wishful nature and how the federal government is portrayed. Even though I agree with the sentiment brought forward in this book none of us pray that anything like this ever happens, even though I know there are sectors of the federal government would love to behave exactly like those and these books
