✫✫ 3.5 Stars ✫✫

I am not a fan of POV books, I always feel like I already know the story and I get bored. Even though this is his POV and we get an idea of what's he is thinking, honestly nothing he thought was different than I assumed in book 1 and nothing about this changed my feeling about him. I was glad this one wasn't 20 hours long because tbh I probably would have quit and went on to book 2.

Sebastian York is always a favorite and he did a great job but even he couldn't make me like Tony LOL

Not a repetive "now from his point of view" person

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No - Because I really dont think it added to the story - it was just the same happenings from another point of view - I am personally not a repetative story line fan.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Behind His Eyes - Consequences?

I didnt even finish it or get that far into it before I stopped listening.

What does Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Not a fan of Sebastian - he is very monotone and boring, just did not do it justice at all, maybe that could be what played into not wanting to go any farther into the story as well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no

Wow Aleatha Romig! The hits just keep on coming! Poor Claire! It’s unbelievable how sadistic Anthony is! The more that is revealed in this series the more twisted it becomes. Looking forward to the next book! Sebastian York was great in narration and truly brought Anthony to life!

Truth: Consequences, Book 2

Claire Nichols meets a charming man while bartending. Against all of her rules, she takes him up on his offer for dinner. She awakes to Hell… Kidnapped, assaulted and violated in every way by a cold man. He, Anthony Rawlings, a successful, very wealthy man has holdings all over the world but now his focus is on Claire. To survive, Claire learns that she must follow his rules. Each decision has a consequence, it can be good or it can be very, very bad.

I urge you to read the publisher's summary, on each book, for more details, as I'm afraid adding to it may it inadvertently reveal spoilers.

This psychological thriller has been sitting in my library for a few years, I purchased it when it was on sale and tried to pick up the rest of the series under the same circumstances (I ended up with 3 of the 8 books available at this time – 2017.) Finally, I decided to listen to Book 1 to see if it would draw me in. It DID and I was hooked. I devoured the whole series back to back – it took the better part of my Christmas holiday and then some. These are long books and I don't feel that a moment was wasted.

This is my 1st experience with narrator Romy Nordlinger and she is excellent. Consequences: Consequences, Books 1, 2, 3 and 5 are told from Claire's point of view (POV) and Nordlinger delivers. 5 stars

Credit worthy? YES, yes, yes!

Notations: some strong language, violence and (not graphic) allusions of sexual situations

DISTRESSING BUT WONDERFUL SERIES

What did you love best about Behind His Eyes - Consequences?

This is a follow up book in a series. The books are hard to deal with sometimes but so worth it. It's a great series if you're willing to be brave enough to read/listen to them all. I was so happy to have Sebastian York reading for Tony. He's such an unlikable character in the beginning and I didn't ever think his pov would be enjoyable to listen to but Sebastian York read him so well that he becomes sympathetic. This series is dark but so great. Sebastian York as Tony is perfection.

Necessary? Maybe...maybe not!

Necessary for me because I am caught up in these characters and will listen to everything written. This is a snapshot of Book 1 from Tony's POV and I was hoping for more insight into Tony. This story is a mystery and I am looking forward to continuing on with the journey.

Tony's view

This is the second time I've listened to this story, I'm grateful that I have never had contact with a person like Tony or Katherine. If there are men out there like him I pray I never meet one. He's the one who needs the mental hospital not Clare!
