This is my favorite so far of the series. I am not sure why, except that I love the character of Lucian, and his background is crucial to understanding his motivation into bdsm. This hour long episode gives us the history of how he came to be at Flesh and why...all up to when he goes to see Amy for the first time. I love the supporting characters in this episode too. Having his mistress shed some light into his mind.

Robert Coltrane is awesome in this as always. His voice is extremely sensual. My first Violet Hemming audio and she brought great depth to Grace's character.

Loved it

Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.

Before Flesh

Not my favorite Sky Corgan listen. What I got from this is he was doing the submissive thing causes he was not right in the head. But the whole thing was topping from the bottom.

It's the gateway drug!

I am starting with the prequel and after listening to that... I can't wait to dive into the world of Flesh.

In Before Flesh, we meet Lucien and how he ended up getting involved with Flesh.

The narration was great. I can totally picture Lucien having Robert's exact voice.

Too short

I wished it would have told more about his side of his relationship with AMY ...was disappointed

This is a must read if you want to start read the series. This will help you understand why Sir is the way he is. And explain why Amy feel how she does

Must read/listen if you enjoy the series

This short listen explains why Lucian is the way he is and how he got involved with Flesh. It is written in Lucian's POV. The narrator does a great Job bringing the story to life.

Nice beginning Story

I enjoyed reading the beginning of the story with Lucien. Being pre-Flesh, I was thinking it would be more about his family, before their demise. I thought it would tell us more about his wife and child, how they met, etc. Disappointed we didn't get more background on his relationship. Didn't mind it being so short since it was a before Flesh story.

I haven't read the series this is based on, it's a bit out of context for me but I did however get a fairly rounded listen that was just a quickie
