Publisher's Summary

Is death the end.... or only the beginning?

Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.

Back in Gatlin, Lena is making her own bargains for Ethan's return, vowing to do whatever it takes - even if that means trusting old enemies or risking the lives of the family and friends Ethan left to protect.

Worlds apart, Ethan and Lena must once again work together to rewrite their fate, in this fourth book and stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series.

Christine

I would have to say without Kevin Collins as narrator I am not postivie I would have enjoyed the series as much. His performance as Ethan and the other characters really made the book. Very enjoyable and i hope they continue with the characters.

Kevin t. collins- best male narrator

Where does Beautiful Redemption rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top, the narration was excellent

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ethan is such a great guy and a strong main character

What about Kevin T. Collins and Khristine Hvam ’s performance did you like?

I loved kevin doing all the voices. Kristine hvam lacked the emotion of what was happening at the time. If she had read more of the book I would not have enjoyed it as much

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

N/a

Any additional comments?

Great series of books!

The Narration took my breath away

Would you try another book from Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and/or Kevin T. Collins and Khristine Hvam ?

The male narrator ABSOLUTELY .. the authors I'm not so sure because I found the series was so annoying to me

Would you recommend Beautiful Redemption to your friends? Why or why not?

I don't think so .. because the story progression was boring to me . there wasn't any excitement in it

Which scene was your favorite?

maybe the scene when Ethan saw his mother for the first time after death

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I already saw the first movie and it was horrible .. so I don't think so

Any additional comments?

it was a good read .. nothing more

Love Hate relationship

My boyfriend read these books and they are oddly his favorite series. I read the first two in about a week but it started to get exhausting. A year later I got the last two books on audiobook because that's the only way I could get through them. I really enjoy the narrator and it made the story a little more bearable.

Slightly Disappointing, But Nonetheless Still Love

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

YES! THIS IS A GREAT SERIES!

Would you recommend Beautiful Redemption to your friends? Why or why not?

Of Course! If you enjoy coming of age love stories, characters not only find out who they are but also discover their own past & future, anything supernatural, bro-mances, or YA novels, you should definitely give this series a chance!

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I didn't really enjoy this performance at all in comparison with the others in this series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

meh.

disapointing

unfortunatly a very weak ending. it either made the villains weaker then they've been presented before or downright dumb which is even worse. the ending where it could have been a tragic ending or a happy ending which would both be fine, instead becomes a forced talk about dead. no explanations are given to any of the events that transpired in the latter chapters. just written and ignored.

Way too depressing.

What did you like best about Beautiful Redemption? What did you like least?

I like the characters as I have all the way through the books, especially Macon and Link. Sadly though, even with the wonderful light relief of Link, this book was just too depressing. I want to escape into this kind of story, not be depressed.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I need chocolate and a glass of wine as now I'm depressed!

Which scene was your favorite?

After Link Kills Abraham.

Could you see Beautiful Redemption being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

The same stars as the Beautiful Creatures Movie, but this shouldn't be made into Movie, again, I want an escape when I go to the Movies.

Any additional comments?

I loved the promise of this series and enjoyed the first two books, but the last two were just way to serious. The over all tone was too dark and depressing, there was too much death and sadness for me. I had to know what it was all about so finished the series, but in the end it was still sad and also an awful lot to get to a fairly weak conclusion.

A disappointing closure to the series

Would you try another book from Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and/or Kevin T. Collins and Khristine Hvam ?

I would definitely try another book from these folks. I enjoyed the first three books and was hoping to love this book. There were a lot of red herrings in the first three that I thought would be wrapped up in this volume, but they weren't. (Why was Ethan forgetting things in the third book? How was Linc going to be able to cope with his "affliction"? Why was Ethan's reaction to Lena physically stronger and stronger in the third book?)

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

This book seemed hastily written. It tied everything up, but simplistically. And I want to know if Ethan and Lena can get fully married and live happily ever after.

Did Beautiful Redemption inspire you to do anything?

Get a more light hearted read the next time! This book was fine, but relentlessly grim and depressing.

Any additional comments?

Clearly, I liked the characters and was involved with the overall story arc. This was not a bad book, just not as good as the others.

This series went for one book too long

While I would not have been pleased with the series ending as it did in Beautiful Chaos, I found this book to be the worst in the series. I will not go as far as saying that it was a bad book, but the only word that I can think of to adequately describe this book is "severed." You may understand what I mean if you read it. If you have read the other three books, by all mean, complete the series, there's no reason not to.
