Intense

An intensely dark, suspenseful and addictive roller coaster ride to go on with Kiernan and Leona. I couldn’t get enough of this book. I enjoyed every single thrilling moment of this story.

Mobsters

Beautiful Criminal also known as the high ranking mobsters that take over the family business.

This is a good one

The female actor is great. The male actor is good. The story line has a few twists and turns, a little predictable but it's done well, makes you feel like you are a sleuthing.
Steamy scenes are good, not super hot but a nice burn. Most of all this is a decisive self aware female character and that's refreshing.

Me. Hard to get around poor male narration

This book doesn't need duel naration. The female narrator can do the male and female voices all on her own. The male narrator sounds like he's a charecature of a mobster and can't do female voices at all. The female narrator made the male charecter sound sexy, then he speaks and ruins it.

Awesome!

The narrators are great! Story is awesome especially the 2nd book. I laughed and cried it was amazing!

The Female Narrator 👏🏾 Brought It

It's so odd for me to say this but I actually enjoyed the female narrator over the male this time. His voice was a little too cartoonish for this character. This is a dark mafia romance and his idea for a female voice had me giggling(too high pitched) kind of Minnie Mouse and a mafia boss shouldn't sound like a used car salesman. I enjoyed the plot enough to finish the book. Personally I think J.F. Harding had the voice for this project.

Did NOT enjoy the narration

The make narrator was always going at a 10 on the energy scale, and when he had to voice female characters they all sounded like old hags, even the MFC. The female narrator was better, but her voice sounded much older than the assumed age of the character - too put together and haughty.

Kiren

Kiren has to be so strong. The family struggles are so real. Now Romeo is gonna have to step up. Poor Romeo

Vanilla Mafia Story

Its a Dark Romance because of the Mafia line and the killings between thugs. Otherwise, this is a very vanilla relationship. I cant say it was steamy but it had the feel good falling in love feel to it if you like that. I wont be reading the rest of the series.
