perfect blend of dark PNR and suspense!
This is definitely my favorite Piper Stone book to date! I didn't think anything could bump Hawk from my #1, but Jabari and Raven and this shifter/PNR did it!
I've been on a PNR kick but I also really enjoy a dark/rough romance. Piper always delivers on the rough and she blew me away with this storyline.
she took a fairly common shifter theme and upped it to the next level with a mix of suspense and hot rough sex scenes with no slow burn! it starts with hot rough sex and ends that way.
I'll definitely be hitting Amazon for book 1!

intriguing

this story had thrumming tension, electrifying suspense and fierce danger that spirals into intriguing passion and action, this sizzles from the first word and suck me in so deeply until i felt the heat !!

Beasts trying to survive.
Piper Stone has written a story with adventure, betrayal, a secret group intent on killing all beasts, individuals trying to save the beasts, and hot sexual scenes. One must realize that Jabari is a beast so his sexual desires and actions will be as a beast. Jabari is a strong alpha who wants to protect his claw, group, and all the various groups of beasts. He knows that Raven, a human, is his mate and and will give his claw hope for survive. He even communicates with Raven before the actually meet. I enjoy how Piper develops their relationship and how Jabari's animalistic attraction to Raven became so much more. Raven is determined to save the beasts even when it puts her in danger. I love how strong and determined she is.
Cade Cohen brings this story to life with his distinctive male and female voices. He makes the listener feel the multitude of emotions that the characters experience. I highly recommend this shifter Audible book. There are many elements to the story that will grab and hold your attention.
