Story was great

The author did a great job on this book and the first one now I have to finish the series. However it has been difficult because of narration. The narration of the first book in this series was great and spoiled me. However, the narrator of this book ugh. Now I have to listen to the next one with disappointment still trying to decide if I want to spend money to listen thru another book with the same narrator. Again ugh…….

Great story, subpar narrator.

Story line of the books are great but the narrator of the second book was not good. The narrator of the first book had me hooked and now I have to force myself to listen to the next two books.

Great book, terrible narrator

I loved the first book in this series. The narrator was perfect with the changes in inflections based on each character. This narrator, however, is terrible. She is flat and cannot change characters easily. She will start with a change in her tone but go back to her normal voice part way through a sentence. I like the series and now I have to push through the same narrator for the next two books!

I don’t get the other reviews

If you liked book 1 then definitely listen to this. I really enjoyed the narrator. She did a good job for both the male and female characters. Her inflections for the diverse characters were on point.

Great story

great story line but the performer was lacking. it was hard to tell which character was speaking sometimes and her cadence started to become annoying.

Great Story

I do enjoyed this story with all of its intricate weaving in and out for the characters. I characters actually had depth, and substance. Fantastic love story.

Good Story

I really liked the first book in the series but the narration was terrible in this one. It kinda ruined it for me. Since I already bought the second and third book after the first ,I’m debating whether to go ahead with the third.
