This was just plain awesome! I admit, I was a bit unsure at first, but OMG was it entertaining! I really loved it - it's the first in the series I've listened to, but it won't be the last. Dammit Brett, you got me hooked! Writing and narration are amazing, definitely recommend it! HA-LARIOUS! :)

Brett can't catch a break

poor Brett can't even catch a break during his much-awaited vacation. dotting women, angry man, murder and one unscrupulous bastard. what else can a reader ask for?

This was made for Audio.

This is the only series that I came across which I believe that must be an audio, reading it will still be great but listening to it perfects it into a masterpiece.
By using Travis Henry Carter to narrate this series with his abilities to use just the right amount of Chicago or Brookline accent and street slang no other audiobooks can compete with this kind of creation that David D. D’Aguanno have written, as an audiobooks series it’s just pure Joy !!!
I’m from LA. So I can’t tell exactly where this accent is from, only that it’s from the other side of the United States from me.

Any way I Love this series and every one of the books in it is so great that writing a review for each is hard because they all deserve the same review,
They are all written beautifully and narrated perfectly,
Those books are just excellent,
I never enjoy and laugh as much as I do
With this series !!!
Hence the problem reviewing those audiobooks, I’m not a poet so I don’t have the words it deserves and really even if I did, every book review would or should be a copy of the one before.
That’s how good this series is !

I absolutely full heartedly recommend this book for all without any hesitations what so ever.

never going to be on a list of feminist rewards

Some days you just want a book that is going to make you laugh, that is going to make you shake your head and say why but you thoroughly enjoy the Escape into the comedy and the insanity of the main character. This book will leave you laughing, which is weird because it has a murder in it. And yet you can not help but feel like it doesn't matter.

I really appreciated the narrator who kept a steady even keel no matter how insane the book got around him.

To guys out there no the methods used by the title character of this book do not work, do not use this as a way of treating women as I will guarantee you you will not get the results that this guy did.
