Riveting suspense right to the last page!

Loved everything about this book. The narrator's ability to use different voices for each character enhanced the audio experience.

A great book all around

Very nicely written and the author was easy to listen to. He gave each character their own distinct accent and never faltered. I especially liked the ominous p.o.v. It gave the right amount of information to keep me interested but didn't give too much that gave the ending away. And what an ending it was. I was definitely surprised with the ending. kudos

A really good story

I liked almost everything about this book, except the voices of the women. They all sounded the same. It would have been better had an actual woman was doing the voices for the female characters, while the man did the voices for the male characters.

Well written psychological thriller!

The title, Be Mine, may sound like a romance novel, but it is not; it is a wonderful very dark psychological thriller with intense suspense, nice twists and great narration. I plan to listen to other novels by Rick Mofina.

Be Mine

I really enjoy Rick Mofina's books and this was no exception. An excellent thriller, with good characters and a very good ending, you really didn't want to stop listening. The narration was excellent.

Hooked

At the moment I'm "binge listening" to Rick Morfina's excellent stories with Tom Reed and the Inspector. This one particularly had me going in the wrong direction of "who did it" right till the end. I shall be really sorry when I've read the complete collection!!

Not as good as others in series

This is the weakest so far in the series, I still finished it but it was far too long for the story which could've been reduced by at least 30%.
I didn't mind it for "easy listening" - but beware of annoying writing habits this author has! All of the books in the series are guilty of it: whenever Molly Wilson was mentioned in the previous books, the author felt it necessary to insert "her bracelets chiming" or "braclets clinking" into every other sentence (I'm not exaggerating, sadly). Yet, the bracelet thing is reduced to a bearable level in this book where Molly is the central character! The author also likes to tell us every time Walt Sydowski puts a tums in his mouth. "Grinding down on a tums" "he popped a tums in his mouth". I was rolling my eyes by the end of the book. I'll listen to the rest of the series but only because they're included in the Plus catalogue. Shame as I really enjoyed the first couple of books!

Disappointing

Not as good as the other books in the series, it felt like it was written by a different author who hadn’t bothered to read all previous books,
But I will read more from this author

Horrible narration

The voice of the narrator was so bad I couldn’t listen to it. Lifeless voice with a slight whine to it - irritating in the extreme. Unable to rate the story as didn’t get past the first 5 minutes. Sorry Rick!

Robotic Narration

The story was good if uninspiring. The narration was awful, he sounded like a robot.
