Publisher's Summary

Fall in love at Bayside, where sandy beaches, good friends, and true love come together in the sweet small towns of Cape Cod. Bayside Summers is a series of standalone steamy romance novels featuring alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're fun, flirty, flawed, deeply emotional, always passionate, and easy to relate to.

Gavin is about to find out that Harper really does exist-and she's going to knock his socks off! Find out for yourself in Bayside Romance!

When screenwriter Harper Garner got a shot at the big-time in LA, she celebrated her brave cross-country move with her first and only one-night stand - connecting so deeply with the sexy, brilliant man, she broke the number-one rule of one-night stands and left her phone number. Not hearing from him was only the first in a long line of hope-shattering, confidence-busting blows. Ten months later, Harper is done with men and done with LA. She pulls up her big-girl panties and heads home to Cape Cod to start over.

On the surface, interior designer Gavin Wheeler has it all: a successful business, a loving family, and a close-knit group of friends. But Gavin once endured a heartbreak so painful, he was sure he'd never feel anything for a woman again. A chance encounter at a music festival with a gorgeous, down-to-earth blonde proved him wrong, but when morning came, the woman who made him crave more was gone.

A serendipitous evening reunites Harper with her devastatingly delicious one-night stand, and the connection is just as intense as she remembered. Harper's life is too unsettled for a relationship, but Gavin is determined to help her find her way, especially if it leads straight to his heart. Moonlight conversations lead to steamy kisses, and as romance blooms, it stirs a love too real to deny. But when Gavin's past collides with the life they're building, it has the power to ruin everything.

Okay, I have to start by giving a shout out to the narrators they are awesome and deserve tons of praise!

Harper is coming down from a blow to her career and her confidence. She finds herself seeking solace in friends when former fling Gavin shows up.

I truly love Gavin I think there is something so special about how much he lifts Harper up. He truly helps rebuild her confidence and brings her out of her funk.

Melissa Foster does it again!

I just love Melissa Foster! She creates such love able but damaged characters, and still finds a way to bring us all a happy ever after. She always brings me into her world and makes me laugh and cry. And it’s always nice to meet up with friends from previous books!

One night of love

Gavin endured a heartbreak that had him thinking he would never be able to have feelings for a woman again. He meets a beautiful young woman at a music festival and they immediately clicked. They end up spending the night together and in the morning she was gone.
Harper moved to LA to try and make it as a screenwriter. When she meets Gavin at a music festival, there’s an immediate chemistry and she has her first one night stand. In the morning before she leaves, she decides to throw caution to the wind and leave her telephone number. When she doesn’t hear from him she feels foolish and regrets her decision. After a series of personal and professional disappointments, she decides to move back home.
Gavin and Harper run into each other again and the chemistry is still as off the charts as she remembers. Gavin wants to rekindle what they had but knows that he will need to take things slow with her since her life is in such a mess. He is so happy they’ve reunited that he tells her he wants them to get to know each other first. Gavin has something from his past that he knows he needs to tell her and hopes that it won’t change her feelings.
I love Melissa Foster’s books because they have just enough sweet and steam. The stories are always well written with relatable and likable characters.
Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan are two of my favorite narrators. They always do a great job bringing life the the story.

great book

*Edit to original review*
I just listened to the audiobook narrated bySavannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan. I live listening to books. It makes my drive to and from work bearable.
Gavin and Harper met at a music festival They wound up having a one night stand. In the one night they hit it off. They had such a strong attraction. They never forget each other. By chance meeting months later they met up at a barnfire. They never knew they had mutual friends in common. Harper's friend spoke of her, however, Gavin always though her name was Parker. Harper returned a little damaged from California. Her show was cancelled and had bad relationships. She wasn't ready for a new relationship with Gavin. But oh boy did he win her over.
This was another amazing story by Melissa Foster. I love how she incorporates characters from her other series. You will not be disappointed. Definitely a must read. There's a HEA with no cliffhangers.

Sweet and Sexy Second Chance Romance!

I simply adored this heartwarming, sweet and sexy second chance romance. Gavin and Harper unexpectedly meet again, a year after their brief but very passionate affair. Neither could ever forget the connection they both felt that lead to big changes in both their lives. Harper was off to LA to follow her dream of writing screenplays. Unfortunately she is now home feeling embarrassed after a disappointing, and heartbreaking experience. She has lost her passion for writing and herself. Gavin has a new business and has reconnected with his family, but still felt like something was missing. He is thrilled that the woman he has pined for is back in his life. But she isn't the same confident, lively woman he knows she can be. He is determined to help her find her way back to herself and to him. But Gavin has his own past that could tear them apart before it really begins. I loved how patient and swoony Gavin was as he helped Harper find her strength, and passion for writing again. Narrators, Savannah Peachwood, and Jacob Morgan were amazing as Harper and Gavin. Peachwood beautifully brought out the vulnerability Harper felt and how she then blossomed into the confident, creative, loving woman she truly was. This is one of my favorite performances by Morgan as he really made me feel all of Gavin's excitement, passion, humor, and heartbreak. He had me in tears for one scene especially. I loved both their performances as they made this fun, sweet & sexy romance even better.

Sweet Second Chance

I loved this. Such a sweet second chance romance set in a small town. This is the first book in this series i've read (or listened to) and I didn't feel lost or like I as missing anything. i'll definitely be going back and reading the others.

Gavin is fantastic. He's funny, intelligent, and goes after what he wants. Harper is the perfect match for him and he brings her confidence out. Their story was so real and I loved how it unfolded.

Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan both delivered fantastic narration. They brought the story and characters to life.

Each character brought out the best in each other. You could sense the one night was not enough. Imagine when they found each other 1 year later. it is like they were never apart..
Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood are spot on with the narration. It flowed beautifully.

Great listen and story

While this book is part of a series it can be listened to as a stand-alone. However, I would recommend reading/listening to the others just for the character backgrounds. It is a sweet story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. The narrators did a great job bringing it to life and the author has this ability to write stories that suck you in and make you forget everything around you. Love this series and would recommend.

Melissa Foster has a knack of writing endearing characters and stories that pull me in. I love the Bayside and Seaside characters, and feel like its catching up with old friends. Sweet with a great narration

This was my first book of the serie, haven't read the author before, but now I really want to go back to the first book and read all the other 4 books. ⠀

I really liked this book, it's so easy to listen to, sweet, no drama, and the story flows pretty easy. All the characters are so great, Harper and Gavin are perfect for each other, Gavin has my heart he's just to perfect and utterly amazing. ⠀

The narration by Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan only make the book more perfect. You cannot go wrong with them. ⠀

Fun Summer Listen

Can be listened to as a standalone. I really enjoyed the author's style and she was able to bring us a fun second chance summer romance. Overall, I really liked the main characters and loved their attraction to each other as well as the build up as they reconnect. Harper and Gavin were really likeable and the author wrote them such that they were technically "flawed" but their 'flaws' seemed somewhat insignificant and I was left feeling like they were almost too perfect. Otherwise, I was very pleased with this charming listen.

These two narrators do a phenomenal job and made this a fabulous listen. Keep up the good work!

Have Me Believing in Love 💘

This book has me believing in love at first sight again. This was a very sensuous, loving, caring, emotional, romantic
love story, that I enjoyed listening to.

I definitely had to continue listening and could not put it down until the very end. I loved the importance of building the friendship 1st before the physical intimacy. The friendship amongst all the couples and each other was heartfelt.

The narrator's Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan are two of my favorites and they continue to amaze me with their talents in this book. I definitely recommend this book to others to listen to.

I enjoyed this story

Bayside Romance, the 5th book in the Bayside Summer series was a sweet, charming novel that I absolutely loved. This second chance romance was Garvin and Harper's story and it will have you hooked until the end. These two had intense chemistry from the moment they reconnected and you will enjoy their romance. The story was relatively angst free with just one small issue at the end that was soon cleared up. I really enjoyed this story and would highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan. These two were great in their delivery of these characters and they brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to them narrate this novel.

Bayside Romance

The story

When does a one night fling become more? For Gavin and Harper that is exactly what happened. Gavin met ‘Parker’ at a festival and his one night with her left him realising she was the one that got away. That is until he meets Harper, and realises that she is the one that got away and he had got her name wrong! I love their beginning and the mis-communication, he got her name wrong and had no way to contact her only discover that Harper had in fact left her name and number on a piece of paper that she put in the wee front pocket of his suitcase – no one puts anything in there so he had no need to check in it!

Their story could be best one yet out of the Bayside Summer series, Gavin is the perfect book boyfriend and his care and attention with Harper as well as their chemistry is off the charts, though he comes with secrets, secrets that my threaten his relationship with Harper. Harper has sworn off relationships but it willing to try with Gavin, but will his secrets be too much for her? You will have to read to find out!

Once again Melissa has taken us down the road of love with their story and I know I say it all the time but I don’t know how she can make each book different!

The Narration

Savannah Peachwood & Jacob Morgan did a great job at bringing this story to life. I wasn't sure about Jacob at first as he seemed to be quite monotone and sounded like he was just reading rather than putting the emotion and feelings into the book but that soon changed and his tone and and voice fitted with the image I had in my head of Gavin.

I loved that the audio was told with duel narrators as that added more depth to story rather than have one person do the whole book. The audio was crisp and clear with no back ground noise or long pauses.
