The fall of the Red Bear but not Wars end

Both Rosone and Watson captured the rise and fall of the Russian push for domination. In this story we saw unlikely alliances and some fallout for breaking promises. Again like the Chinese, I think every service man has quietly eyed the Great Red Bear and taking the words of the venerated warfighter General James Mattis (USMC), "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet." So seeing the struggle of the life like characters on both sides, each expressing real doubt about the reasons for fighting on, the story wrapped up nicely. I am no student of politics but I found the occupation of Russia a bit easy... maybe on the surface it is as I am sure one could do a saga on just the occupation. The deal with allowing the Russian SF returning units strikes me as very real, as I am sure at the end of every major conflict had similar outcomes. Bravo! Keep these books coming.
