What made the experience of listening to Barefoot with a Bodyguard the most enjoyable?

The mystery and adventure along with the romance keeps one not wanting to pause it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Barefoot with a Bodyguard?

Can't pick one as there were a lot of moments that stick in my mind. The couples massage was one.

Have you listened to any of Kaleo Griffith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No had not listened to Kalio Griffith before...liked it very much but at times was a little 'campy' sounding.

Any additional comments?

For those that have not read or listened to any of Roxanne St. Clair's books, they should. Love her Barefoot series.

Amazing story

Would you listen to Barefoot with a Bodyguard again? Why?

I loved this story and would listen to it over and over again

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course Gabe Rossi is my most favorite character in the series, however I quickly fell in love with both Alec and Kate. They are both such strong individuals and I loved how different they were yet totally worked for me as a couple. I especially loved how protective they both were of one another.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved Kate trying to guess Alec's real name. They had serious chemistry but some of their sweeter times together were my absolute favorite.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I both laughed and cried while reading this story. Roxanne St. Claire pulls all the emotions from me when reading or listening to her books.

Roxanne St. Claire/Barefoot Undercover Fan

As headlined, I'm a big Rocki St. Claire fan and when I got the chance to grab this book in audio, I couldn't resist. I'm always a little leery about audio versions of romance novels, though. Who does it better? A male narrator or a female? I think it depends on the book and the narrator. In this case, Kaleo Griffith did a great job with the male characters and the couple of accents needed for correct characterizations and I wasn't disappointed in his narrative take on the heroine. This is a book with strong male characters--not only the hero but the secondary characters as well. And the heroine is sarcastic and brash so in this case, the Mr. Griffith's narration worked to perfection. I loved this book in "written" format and now I get to enjoy it "on the run" with the audio.

great story

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Listening to Kate and Alec's story made my work day fly by. I loved their story. 2 strangers who are forced together due to circumstances in their lives made for a great story. They are 2 totally different people from beyond different backgrounds. Listening to them muddle through their situation was absolutely fun. I enjoyed the narrator of this audiobook.

Opposites Attract!

What made the experience of listening to Barefoot with a Bodyguard the most enjoyable?

Alex! I loved the character of Alex. He's this big strapping guy and tough as nails but he's still very vulnerable. He's damaged emotionally and has to hide it try to deal with that while protecting Kate who grew up very differently from him.

What other book might you compare Barefoot with a Bodyguard to and why?

I'm a fan of Roxanne St Claire's previous romantic suspense books and Gabe is a part of some of those so any of those books would compare even though these have a more contemporary feel to them.

Have you listened to any of Kaleo Griffith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I liked Kaleo Griffith other narration of Roxanne St Claire's work. He does a awesome job with the male voices but the female voices don't always ring true for me. Overall the narration is good though.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Fake names and histories can't stop love from finding their hearts.
