It makes me so happy when it’s a strong female and a man that gets it. There is none of the making obviously bad decisions and whining about it. I will say the talking to herself came off a little mentally unstable-ish but I got past it

Great Story!
Hugh is a wonderful character and the perfect pirate! his relationship with Daphne is interesting particularly as she is his aunt!
its quite a slow starter but once it gets going its one of those stories that you just can't put down.
I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Love this series
I’ve listened to both Dangerous and Barbarous in the series so far and found the personalities and storyline’s more fascinating than the run of the mill historical romances. Heather Wilds has a stunning reading voice and does well bringing the characters to life. I highly recommend.
